Wow. I love this place so much I booked another rez just to go back and eat the rest of the menu.As a younger diner it is sometimes hard to get full respect and attention while out but the staff at bad roman was exceptional. With managers giving suggestions and attentive and friendly wait staff. Bad Roman is a fun and entertaining space to dine so go dine there.

I heard about Bad Roman through Instagram--tons of hype, gorgeous pics, and promises of a trendy vibe. So, we decided to check it out on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Walking in, the entrance was definitely Instagrammable, all sleek and photo-ready, but that's where the excitement peaked. The floor felt sticky, which was an instant vibe-killer, and we were seated in the back near a window facing a dull building across the street. The table setup screamed classic diner, not the upscale spot I'd expected from the buzz. Major downgrade right off the bat.Service was painfully slow, even though the place wasn't busy. We started getting suspicious about the food quality, so we played it safe and ordered coffee and a simple raw dish--tuna tartare--to test the waters. The coffee came out diner-grade, weak and forgettable, but at a semi-fine-dining price. The tartare took forever to arrive despite the empty tables around us, and when it finally showed up, it was just... edible. Nothing special, nothing worth the wait. At that point, we decided not to risk another dish.Even getting the check was a slog--more waiting for no good reason. Honestly, this place isn't worth the hype. Instagram might sell it, but the reality is sticky floors, slow service, and overpriced mediocrity. Pass.

Brought my girlfriend here to Bad Roman for our Valentine's Day dinner and had an all around excellent experience. Food was a full experience with burst of flavors in every bit.Service was also top notch. Our server was very attentive and provided great hospitality as well as the floor manager. I would definitely come back soon and bring other foodie friends. But after I continue to hit the other restaurants in the group.

After friends highly recommended Bad Roman, I finally had the chance to dine there last night! Be sure to make a reservation because this place was hopping on a Sunday night. This restaurant is located inside the Columbus circle mall on the third floor. Once inside, you have no idea its in a mall. The atmosphere is beautiful with lots of dim lighting and hints of orange. We started our meals with the Ciao mama cocktail and Limoncello cocktails. Beautiful display and garnishes. We shared the pull apart eggplant parm and garlic babka. Simply fresh and amazing. The sauce for the eggplant parm has a nice kick to it. For dinner, pasta was our go to. I ate the kale mafaldine pasta with tomatoes, kale, goat cheese, and pine nuts. My friend ordered the chicken scarpariello rigatoni. Perfect amount of pasta for each plate because we then had room for dessert. The espresso martini and lemon cheesecake were amazing! I loved the richness of the lemon cheesecake. The presentation was incredible because the cheesecake was shaped like a lemon. Although our meals took some time to come out, they did not disappoint and delivered with flavor. Our waiter gave us complimentary limoncello drinks during our dinner. I will definitely come back to try different options! Worth visiting for sure!

Bad Roman is a lot of fun. The vibes made it famous but the gastronomics should not be overlooked. We started off with the Garlic Babka. Everyone will tell you to, and everyone happens to be right. It's flaky, cheesy and delicious. Next we had the juicy and plump Porchetta Ribs. They come with a sweet citrusy glaze and slide right off the bone. We also had the Spicy Caesar, which was good and had a noticeable but not overwhelming kick. For entrees, the Short Rib Pappardelle is solid. It's not pushing any boundaries but it's a classic and well executed. We also had the Cappelletti Bistecca, which was really good. Cappelletti are basically ravioli but filled with meat, not just ricotta. The steak filling was really tasty. I just wished that there were more than 10 bites! The chocolate tart dessert was a perfect conclusion. It was chocolaty and smooth but not overly sweet. All in all, Bad Roman made for a great night.

Bad Roman absolutely delivered on all fronts and then some! This spot is a vibe from the moment you walk in--the decor, the lighting, the energy, everything just hits right. It's perfect for a special occasion or just when you feel like treating yourself (or someone special) to something a little extra.Drinks: Let me just say, if you're into martinis, this is the place. The Martini Pepperoncini was bold, briny, and so well-balanced--definitely for the martini lovers out there. But my personal favorite? The Strawberry Sbagliato. Sweet, fizzy, and just downright fun. Every cocktail we tried was a hit--crafted with care and perfect for sipping. Pro tip: explore the menu and branch out, you're in for a treat.Food: Let's talk highlights: the ribs were insanely tender, with a depth of flavor that made you want to keep going back for more. The Peekytoe Crab Luigi? Not just a dish, it's an experience. The whimsical presentation was matched only by the freshness of the crab. The oysters were perfect--fresh, well-dressed, and just right. And don't sleep on the tuna tartare or the whipped ricotta with truffle honey; they're the kind of apps that leave you wishing you had room for seconds. Every single dish was a knockout.Service: The staff here is truly top-tier. They were warm, attentive, and on it from start to finish. They even packed up our leftovers so beautifully that taking them home felt like unwrapping a gift. (And let me tell you, those leftovers were just as good the next day.) It's the little things that make a big difference, and Bad Roman nails every one of them.Atmosphere: Gorgeous doesn't even begin to describe it. The space is modern, chic, and welcoming, striking that perfect balance between upscale and inviting. Whether you're here for a date night or a night out with friends, it's the kind of place that makes you want to linger and soak it all in. Every corner is a vibe.Bad Roman was everything I hoped it would be and more. Great food, phenomenal drinks, amazing service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay all night. I'm already planning my next visit because, honestly, one night here just isn't enough.#BadRomanNYC #MartiniPepperoncini #StrawberrySbagliato #WhippedRicottaWithTruffleHoney #DrinksDoneRight #FoodiesOfNYC #DateNightGoals #NYCRestaurants #FineDiningWithPersonality #MustTryEats

Loved our dinner! The pork chop was so delicious! I would not want to know how many calories were in it because it was so juicy and delicious! I am sure it was marinated in something too tasty! The brussel sprout side was great. We loved the mushroom appetizer we had. My sister's pasta was a little heavy but that's ok. We saw the tiramisu from a distance so we ordered that and we didn't realize it was an ice cream cake. We would not have ordered ice cream. Our mistake for not looking at the menu. The service was great. The tables are very close together. I would go back because the food was good! I would get an earlier reservation so we don't have to wait so long. The later your reservation, the more likely you'll wait to get seated (based on our evening).

I recently had the chance to visit Bad Roman, located on the top floor of the Columbus Circle Mall, and it certainly lived up to the hype. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the breathtaking views of the city--sweeping vistas of Central Park and the skyline that make the dining experience feel extra special. The restaurant itself has a sleek, modern vibe with a warm and inviting atmosphere that balances both style and comfort.Bad Roman's menu is diverse and exciting, offering a mix of Italian-inspired dishes with unique twists. I kicked off my meal with the Filet Mignon Meatballs, a dish that was a standout from the start. The meatballs were incredibly tender and packed with flavor. The filet mignon gave them a rich, melt-in-your-mouth texture that was simply irresistible. The seasoning was spot on, and they came with a savory sauce that complemented the meat perfectly. For my entrée, I opted for the Short Rib Pappardelle, and it was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. The short rib was cooked to perfection--tender, juicy, and full of deep, savory flavor. The pappardelle itself was perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of bite. The richness of the short rib sauce coated the noodles beautifully, creating a mouthwatering combination of textures and tastes. To drink, I had the Bellini Iced Tea, which was a refreshing and slightly fruity beverage. It was the perfect palate cleanser between bites--cool and crisp, with a hint of sweetness that wasn't overpowering.Overall, my experience at Bad Roman was good. The combination of the stunning views, top-notch food, and excellent service makes it an ideal spot for a special night out. If you're in the area, I highly recommend it--whether you're after a romantic dinner, a celebration, or just a great meal with a view.

Bad Roman is definitely one of my go-to spots in the city--I've been about four times now, and it never lets me down. The ambiance is pretty unique--colorful, with a mix of prints and random animal statues, but somehow it all works. It's a little quirky but definitely has its charm. The lighting is also on the dimmer side, which I love for a cozy vibe. When it comes to the food, it's all about the whipped ricotta. Don't skip it. And definitely ask for extra breadsticks because they only give you four (a little stingy, honestly). The caviar gnocchi is also a standout. On the flip side, the tuna tartare wasn't great--very bland, so I'd pass on that. I am not even a cheesecake girlie but you have to try the lemon cheesecake. It's hands down the best I've ever had. All in all, I highly recommend Bad Roman. Great food, cool vibe, and always a solid choice for a night out.

Beautiful decor and ambience, excellent food and service. I didn't realize our Broadway show started at 7 and not 8, so we didn't have as much time as I would have liked, but our server managed to get us our food and we didn't feel overly rushed. I'd love to go back and spend a full evening at Bad Roman. A great dining experience!
