Had an omakase for lunch. The price is very reasonable and the food is top notch. Especially, the uni, it's so sweet and buttery. Probably one of the best sea urchins I ever ate!

Atto offers high quality sushi at reasonable prices. I got a Chirashi ($35) and a Kara roll ($17). Quality wise I would say the sushi is at least one grade up from your typical local neighborhood sushi joint. It's not Michelin-star level by any means, but it's quite good for the price point. The sushi roll was solid and the Chirashi was very well made. All in all, I was very happy with the food and would definitely recommend Atto for anyone looking for good quality sushi.

Solid sushi for the price point. I had omakase at the counter and enjoyed every piece (except the Uni which wasn't very fresh in my opinion). The chutoro, otoro, and salmon were my favorite. The sushi chef took about 15/20 minutes to get started but once he did the pacing was great. It's a little hard to find - if you don't enter directly from the subway then take the escalators down to the bottom level of the building. Also note that the bathroom is not in the restaurant but in the atrium (the security guard has to let you in). Go for a casual look and bring friends or coworkers for a low-pressure omakase experience! @alex.eats.365

The quality here is second to none. I highly recommend giving Atto Sushi a try. We ordered off the menu instead of the omakase and everything we ordered was incredible. Chu toro and lean tuna nigiri were some of the best nigiri we've ever had. The negitoro, hamachi and scallion roll were as good as any. The star of the show was a signature roll of spicy tuna spicy yellowtail and spicy salmon covered in tempura flakes. They cube up the fish and mix it in a spicy sauce so it's not minced like other places commonly serve. You must get this signature roll! The soy sauce, wasabi, and sake were of the highest quality. This place is perfect.

Got takeout, and through a me or app mishap, my allergy notes weren't in the system. They were super kind and remade the order just before closing.Cute aesthetic, fresh fish, great quick lunch spot or take out.

You should visit Atto. They are a new omakase sushi restaurant. That has become all the rage. They are unlike those rivals just trying to profit from a trend. The food is fresh. The preparation is professional. The atmosphere is calm. The service is unobtrusive. I knew as soon as I walked in that this was a place I could trust to deliver a fine meal. Sadly, they have not been discovered. I hope to change that. They deserve clientele. The issue is their location in the basement of an office building. For me, that was fine. It was close to where I met a former work colleague for a beer. More importantly, it was a block from the subway stop I needed to get to afterward to make my way home to central Queens. Although I selected the venue based on convenience, I can report that it is not limited to those looking for Japanese food in close proximity. A group could have a great evening. The salad was good too. I enjoy Japanese dressings. There was nothing but quality to be had here. They are not catering to those who know only the California roll with faux crab. They had Hokkaido uni, a petite serving. Someone not accustomed to more adventuresome offerings would not be put off. I praise the ginger. It was not dyed and cloying, but a piquant mound. They are not perfect; nobody is. The rice was heavy on vinegar, but that also might be my palate. I will be stopping in again. I am in that neighborhood regularly.I hope they prosper. Perhaps this positive review will help in that regard. I will be stopping in again. I am in that neighborhood regularly.

Delicious omakase tucked in midtown east in the basement of a commercial building! I found out about this place from a friend and am so glad she brought me here! There are so many omakase spots in NYC now especially around the $70-100 range, and I think this has got to be one of my favourite ones (another favourite is Thirteen Water)! We got the 15 piece set and the fish quality was superb. I liked how the chef would give us a little intro about each piece. The uni was spectacular

Fantastic value omakase sushi experience. If you want really high quality omakase sushi that is casual and affordable, I highly recommend this hidden gem. The setting is simple and comfortable. The staff are friendly and very enthusiastic about their food. The sushi servers make sure to balance ingredients and preparation of the sushi so that the freshness of the fish is center stage. The variety of fish is great, and served in an order that allows you to appreciate their natural differences in texture and flavor. Will come back again the next time I'm in Manhattan.

I've ordered from here a few times. Consistently good. Pictured is the sushi set, comes with salad (not pictured). Service is quick and friendly and price is very reasonable. Very cute inside and has been busy when I pick up. Recommend. Great addition to the area!
