Artichoke Pizza is so yummy and a pizza staple in NYC. They opened in 2008 in the East Village and have expanded in multiple locations including where I visited which was the Times Square Location. They have been featured in shows such as Jay Leno, Seth Meyers and also been on New York Times and New York Post. When you walk in, it's standing room only so be aware of that! Here are all the massive slices I tried.Artichoke, Margherita, Staten Island, Vodka, Sicilian, plain pizza My favorite was the Vodka Pizza which had a mild garlic flavor and was very reminiscent of vodka.

Great pizza near broadway in NYC! We ordered a slice of Artichoke pizza and Margherita pizza!!This ambience is a grab and go!! This is not a sit down pizzeria, cool place to eat quickly without waiting for a waitress!!The artichoke pizza was really cheesy and fell off the slice, my husband had to finish the pizza with a fork. Overall tasty slices!

After hearing about Artichoke Pizza for months, I finally decided to check it out on a Sunday evening, walking over from Bryant Park. The service was super quick, which was great, but be aware that seating is extremely limited--just three standing tables if you want to eat there. We opted to take our order to go and enjoy it at home.I got their infamous Artichoke slice, and let me tell you--it lived up to the hype. This is not your typical New York slice that you fold and eat on the go. It's thicker, almost like a deep-dish meets Sicilian hybrid, but don't be fooled--the crust is still perfectly crispy. The real star? The fluffy texture and creamy Alfredo sauce that made every bite mouthwatering. As someone who isn't usually crazy about artichokes, I was completely won over by this slice. This spot is officially in my rotation if I want something more than a NYC slice. If you're looking for a rich, indulgent slice with a unique twist, this is absolutely worth a visit. Just plan ahead if you need seating or have a large group!

Great job on displaying the pizza by the window! I used to get a slice of artichoke pizza after a night of drinking and haven't been back in a while. But my coworkers and I were heading next door to get poke but were drooling over the pizza while walking by and ended up inside ordering a few slices. I ordered a slice of Sicilian and white which ended up being $16 or so. It is a bit pricey but the slices are big. I definitely enjoyed the white more than the Sicilian, and probably would've enjoyed both if they didn't overcook it (the bottoms were burnt but were flavorful otherwise). There was only one guy working the front during lunchtime and did have to wait a bit for our slices to get reheated even when we were the only ones in there. Definitely worth trying if you haven't tried the artichoke slice but the other toppings are tasty too.

This slice of pizza is so rich and so dense but idk something about it I really like. I totally would understand why people don't like it because it is gimmicky but idk it really works for me every once in a while.Sharing 1 slice with another person is perfect!

Went with my cousin and it's 5 star pizza...But only 3 stars because of the overwhelming heat inside the restaurant. No chairs, standing tables only. Nothing gluten freeKey words: celiac, gluten free

The prices might have changed over 8 years (dont blame them) but the taste is still the same - thick perfect pizza slices, so much taste in every bite. The artichoke is still the bomb so creamy, its extremely heavy and filling! The margarita slice was good too but not as much as the artichoke!

Joe's pizza had a line that was going around the corner and we could not wait.Artichoke Basille's pizza was nearby and they had a much smaller crowd. They has a fantatic opportunity to impress. We managed to walk straight to the register to order and waited 12 minutes for six slices to get warmed. We were not offered any combo package for drinks and they had to be ordered separately. The place was still crowded considering it was well past the lunch hour peak around 3pm on a Thursday afternoon. There's a door towards the back but it was locked - I am not aware if thats a restroom. We had several slices from various pizzas and they ranged from below average to average at best. The crust on most of slices was burnt black and I could not fold the pizza the typical way I eat NY pizza. If I was not in a hurry, and if we werent so hungry, I would have taken back the slices and asked for replacements. There was a noticable crunch when we took bites from our pizza, like eating a thick brittle cracker. Again, the slices were not slender like typical pizza I have eaten... they would maintain shape while held like cardboard. The artichoke pizza seemed like their showcase or flagship selection and the serving size was large. I like generous portion, selection of ingredients and presentation however the overall delicery left much to be desired... the burnt crust really ruined it for me. The slices were large and filled each of us up. However, I felt dissatisfied and bought pizza else where in near Sheaphead Bay the train station which was much better.I still remember the look on people's faces as they were eating Joe's pizza... it was like they were in heaven. Someday months or years from now I hope Joe can manage demand better or that Artichokes can step up their game.

The place was crowded. They have no seats, just table tops that are uneven.Very narrow inside, so if that isn't your thing just take your slices to go.I got the artichoke slice and the vodka slice. The artichoke slice was good. Basically artichoke dip on pizza. It was a huge slice. The vodka slice was okay, but it wasn't hot enough. Didn't realize until I took a bite of it and I was like it's too late now.I would come again if I was in the city.

Hmm it was almost $10 for one slice of artichoke pizza. Yes it was creamy and rich and a thick fluffy slice. But it seems overpriced. If you've never had Artichoke pizza, try the signature slice but I wouldn't say I have cravings for this often.
