I had such a pleasure dinner experience here last week with my brother and close family friends. We arrived for a 7 pm reservation and was seated right away. The staff greeted us before and during the dinner to ensure that everything was going well. We indulged in the shrimp cocktail, crab cakes, and Cesar salad as our starters. As an entrée, I had the salmon with sautéed spinach which was delicious. My brother had a well don't steak that he devoured. He mentioned that it was one of the best steaks that's he's had in a long time. The chocolate cake was perfect for dessert . Although it was a bit crowded for a weekday night, I can see myself dining here again in the future. The ambiance is nice and cozy. The location is perfect; in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.

This was our favourite meal by far in New York on our recent trip!The food was amazing, steak to die for and the tenderest pork medallions. Service was phenomenal and the atmosphere was relaxed without detracting from the chic elegance of the restaurant. We will definitely be back next time we visit NYC.

The ultimate Mid-town East power lunch location. Impeccable service, pristine white tablecloth and a Prix fixe, three course, lunch menu to boot. Cesar salad is creamy and delicious and the grilled chicken pillard was cooked to perfection.

When I walked in it was a bunch of people in suits. Nothing wrong with people in suits, is just that's all it was.The food was really not impressive. We have great steakhouses in the Midwest, so unfortunately this didn't compare to the food you find from Omaha to St. Paul to Chicago.Scallops were dreadfully overcooked. The tuna tartare was bland. My drink - the out of office - was a bit light on flavor. Sadly, the sea bass' accompanying sauce and condiments were bland. I'm from Minnesota - I know what bland is.The service was excellent at least.Overall, the atmosphere might be flashy for business guys, but the food just was completely underwhelming, especially in New York.

Party of three to celebrate a birthday. I reserved our table two weeks in advance out of excited anticipation. We were seated inside on the rooftop with nice views outside and a short travel distance from the bar. Dress code is business casual but everyone was dressed to impress. You should do the same. We started with drinks (I liked the smoky Blood Shot cocktail) and nibbled on the complimentary baked parmesan crackers. I ordered a few things so as to get a feel for the menu, and after a short wait, food began arriving. I opened with the Caesar salad, having heard good things. It is indeed a worthy salad, full of crunchy romaine, though the amount of dressing was a bit overzealous. In the future, I'll remember to order it on the side. Next, the filet mignon, medium-rare. The steaks are grilled with a thick char that locks in the juices and flavor. Fork and knife allowed me to easily slice off mouthwatering chunks of meat. I tried the house steak sauce, which is agreeable, but I preferred the steak by itself. On the side, onion rings and potato puree. The rings are housemade and delightful, not too thick or greasy, with genuine onion inside. The potato puree was buttery and blood-thickening, a rich pairing for any main course. I was tempted to also order the asparagus, but this was already A LOT of food, so I made do. The service was impeccable and my guests were similarly impressed with their experiences. Patroon is an excellent choice for special occasions, fancy-but-not-too-fancy get-togethers, marriage proposals, etc. It's a classy joint, so wear something dazzling, and tip well. For a walk on the lavish side, Patroon is the path.

had an amazing dinner tonight. the server was professional, attentive, and courteous . it was our first time at Aretsky's Patroon which was recommended by a friend who is a local and the family owned restaurant did not disappoint. I love the tuna app, crab cakes app and the bread was to die for. Every entree was fabulous. The halibut and paella, but let's not forget the lobster Mac and cheese side! they sent us an order of beignets after telling them we were from New Orleans and they were also delicious!!! I can't say enough good things about this place. I love that it's a family owned restaurant and the family is there working the floor. We will definitely be back!!!
