I have no reservations about giving maximum stars to Arden. I must say, seeing as tho blue is my favorite color, I was sold just from that, but of course, one should never pick a restaurant by color alone. Now, on to the good stuff, and fortunately for me, my favorite color didn't fail me in this case. Arden is a corner restaurant with glass windows that showcase the delight in customers' eyes as you pass by. Plus, the fact that it's usually packed adds to one's culinary curiosity. That said, Arden deserves every star. The staff, food, drinks, customer service, and drinks all come together for a fabulous dining experience. I'll take this moment to make a recommendation; please make a reservation because this place is usually busy-boots during brunch hours. While I'm making recommendations, I suggest you try their burger and shrimp and grits- a HIT! Enjoy

This is a charming little spot in Brooklyn. I visited on a Saturday night and was glad I called ahead, as there was over an hour-long wait for the bar. Luckily, I was able to put my name down in advance. The ambiance is lovely, with dim lighting that's perfect for a date night.Starting with the food, I began with the pork belly. The flavors were excellent--perfectly cooked with just the right texture and a hint of spice, balanced nicely by the coleslaw. This dish set high expectations for the rest of the meal.Next came the salmon tartare, which, unfortunately, fell short. The way the salmon was cut made the texture unappealing, and the accompanying wasabi and avocado-based sauce didn't pair well with the dish. It's something I could have skipped.Moving on to the salmon entrée, I had high hopes for the combination of escovitch vegetables, curry purée, and couscous. However, the flavors didn't come together well, and the dish was overwhelmingly salty. While the salmon itself was perfectly cooked, the excessive salt overshadowed it. Still, I was hungry enough to eat it anyway.I ended the meal with the toffee, which was the highlight of the night. It was a satisfying way to conclude the experience, especially after the ups and downs of the other dishes. It's too bad this dessert is seasonal--I'd definitely return just for that!

I didn't get to this spot when it first opened, but I was there by the time they reached their 1 year anniversary and I'm glad I did. I'm happy to see them succeed. The owners are very friendly and attentive. The chef is sturdy and great at his craft.Nice service and nice selection of drinks. The daily specials are typically posted on their Instagram.

10/10! Excellent food, creative cocktails and mocktails, gorgeous sun-drenched space, and attentive, thoughtful service. The pastrami spiced gravlax was a fan fave, as was the alien superstar cocktail. We absolutely loved our brunch at Arden and know we'll be back soon!

Some hits and misses here. I appreciate that they have happy hour food!Wins: yellowtail crudo and the brick roasted chicken (this dish was amazing)Not wins: salmon tartare (not cut properly so texture was off and flavors did not go well together), cheeseburger (appeared patty was pre cooked with some cheese slapped on it that was not at all melted, unlike the table next to us)Staff: they were ok but not overly friendlySmaller place with cute indoor and outdoor seating.

Food was awesome. Service was great, attentive while not intrusive. The restaurant itself is very pleasing to the eye. 5 stars all around.

Lovely night out with my cousin and found this little kept secret of a restaurant. Menu full of choices! Had the salad, octopus, mussels, and salmon - solid. The salmon flavors were good but slightly raw in the center. We ate most of it, so we didn't say anything. It's a bit crowded because it's a small restaurant but the service is pretty well given the space!

In the words of Rachel Ray, Yum-o!I knew I was in for a treat, but I honestly didn't know the food would be this good. There was not a single thing we ate that we didn't like. And we ate a lot lol! If I had to force you to choose, do the pork chop, shrimp wraps and burrata. We also enjoyed happy hour (on a Saturday!) and house cocktails. None disappointed. If I lived closer, I would frequent. Best for my wallet that we don't lol. Make a reservation. We had one and the place was crowded so I imagine walk ins may be a tad harder to accommodate some evenings.

Rustisinal? Artustical? Portmanteaus aside this is a rustic artisanal delight in Brooklyn that isn't full of beards or poseurs. Thoughtful and attentive staff, good ambiance without being over the top, and a great menu. Wife and I were both able to find a couple of items we definitely wanted, and will be back for the other items. Pork chop was exceptional and pared with the hot pepper created an unexpected dish. Salmon was really good and worth considering. Solid wine list. A touch pricey but would return. Might find a less aggressively priced place for future shows down at the Kings Theater.

So good, so good! Drinks are so artisanal and the food is even better. I had the fried chicken sandwich, Caesar salad and the ricotta toast and I devoured all on the one sitting. The hot honey and slaw in the chicken sandwich was the sweet and sour balance needed . The apples with the ricotta toast was a pleasant surprise and it balanced the cheese well. The Caesar salad with anchovies on top were great! I sat at the bar for brunch and watched the bar to make the best drinks with house made syrups and rum blends making well Made drinks . The dinner menu is even more extensive so I am willing to try one night.
