Birthday dinner for my husband was nice. We started with a dozen oysters, enjoying the east coast ones more than west. I was disappointed in the filet mignon as it was very dry and lacked flavor. Would recommend a different steak or add sauce. However the bone-in ribeye was delicious. The puree potatoes were yummy and the spinach was good. We barely put a dent into the Cracker Jack sundae, but it was tasty and pretty big. Amazing service from all staff. It is very very dark which made it feel romantic.

Fantastic Night at American Cut (Especially the Service!)I had an incredible return visit to American Cut! Everything was on point this evening.The star of the show was our waiter, Russ. He provided fantastic recommendations for both cocktails and wine pairings. We also indulged in some phenomenal appetizers, with the smoked wagyu and steak tartar being true standouts. Our entrees were equally impressive, particularly the porterhouse, tomahawk, wagyu, and the decadent mac and cheese.Even though my guests and I trekked down from uptown, the experience was absolutely worth it. The entire evening was amazing, and a big shoutout goes to the manager, Joey. The ambiance was also perfect for a client dinner or night out with great friends. Finally, major kudos to Adona, the hostess, who always greets us with warmth and exceptional hospitality - a true lifesaver after a long day.

Beautiful, classy, delicious steakhouse on Greenwich St. The perfect ambiance for date night or even night out with the girls. Service is impeccable. We had the porterhouse steak - so much that we had to take some home. The jalapeño mashed potatoes were had a lot of kick and we loved it. Mushrooms also delicious. Ended with a yummy Cracker Jack sundae. It's pricey so you can always try to go during restaurant week if you want to try it out!

So the ambiance here is very nice and corporate dinner-esque. But we didn't think the food was memorable or anything to write home about. We came for Restaurant Week so got to try a bunch of their hits. On the whole, things were bland. That includes the spinach, Mac & cheese, and the burger. Here's the standouts:- The biscuits they give you for free- The pickles that come on the side of the burger- The chili lobster soup

I really liked the ambiance, and the staff were kind and attentive. The food was good (went for restaurant week). Don't think it was great. The complimentary biscuit and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies are a really nice touch. Loved the biscuit, haven't had the cookie yet. Caesar salad was delicious. The filet mignon was a tiny bit salty and didn't have a ton of flavor. It wasn't quite as tender as I like but still good, took home leftovers. The asparagus and spinach were fine but also not a ton of flavor. My friend got the burger and a couple of the potato sides and seemed to enjoy all of her food. Neither of us tried the cocktails. The cheesecake was yummy and my friend liked the Cracker Jack ice cream dessert. Overall, a cute, comfortable place and the food hit the spot!

Came here for happy hour and ended up meeting some new friends who invited me to join them for dinner in the dining room.Happy hour oysters exceeded expectations given it's a steakhouse. Spices & Flowers cocktail was divine. The jalapeno mashed potatoes looked unappetizing but were good and very spicy. Beware! The creamed spinach was out of this world. Caesar salad great. And lastly the filet mignon was good too!Also friendly service.

We live in the neighborhood so we do go here often and every time I go I leave thinking it was the best dining experience. Everyone is beyond friendly and accommodating. The managers truly care about your experience and all other staff are so friendly and attentive and truly seem to care about the guest experienceWe were sitting at the bar this most recent time and they brought us bread - 2 rolls for 3 of us. I think they originally thought it was 2 people but 2 was fine (they are huge and so delicious). However, without even asking a few minutes later we were delivered another roll. The ambiance in the dining room and bar is great. Aside from the service the food is also amazing. You never really know at a steakhouse but the food here is always consistently great from the steak to the apps/ salads and the sides. Their happy hour menu is also top notch. The best steakhouse/restaurant !!!!

100/10! Carlos went above and beyond! Greatest wingman and server ever! Had great bar knowledge. And Chris is the best GM! Got us a table when it was busy. Everyone was very accommodating and food was phenomenal. defiantly recommend!
