This place is so so incredible with a great vibe inside. It has the cozy, West-Village feel while also giving you and your table the privacy and comfort of a thriving environment. The pest Gnocchi was TO DIE FOR and you MUST get the dip trio. I try to replicate the kale salad at home but i can't it's a must get!! The meatball, the sauce, the homemade bread and margarita pizza...AMAZING not to mention the cocktails! Plenty of tequila cocktail options which i lovedThe lighting was dark so i didn't take any pics but you've got to trust me

GET THE TIRAMISU!!Good food, but a complete shit show with managing reservations and waitlist. A restaurant of this size should not be seating tables of 12 and 24 people, which backs up everything else. Greed! Good short list of wines by the glass. Loved the focaccia (was more like pita), lobster and ravioli pasta. The Tiramisu was probably one of the best I have tried in NY, light and fluffy! I'll come back again even if it's just for the said dessert, with the hope not to wait forever.

I came here on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch early dinner. I walked into the restaurant but the host never checked me in until hours later while I was waiting for the check. I opted for the summer restaurant week menu. I started off with a glass of Gavi, which was refreshing and paired well with my orders of Truffle Croquettes, Fennel Salad, Branzino and Budino. Dinner was not served until after 5pm so I started off with their bar menu which included the fennel salad. The salad was refreshing and filling at the same time. The branzino was fileted and generous. I ate half and took the rest home with half of the truffle croquettes. The budino was a great end to my dining experience.

Ambra was very much ok. I came here with a friend for dinner and the vibes were great - lovely little restaurant and nice decor. The service was also good but the quality of the food was very average. The flavors were pretty mild across the board and each dish was pretty simple. We started with the focaccia which was good but felt like something i could get at the supermarket. We then had the ragu and bronzino - also both pretty average - nothing blew me out of the water or shocked me. Dessert was ok - we got the olive oil cake and they comped us the tiramisu - the tiramisu was better than the olive oil cake although the cake did have a nice lemon flavor it was very mild.

LOUD- If you're expecting a dinner where you can have a conversation where you can hear the other person, think again. Food- tricolor salad was very bland. I make better salad dressing at home. We had to ask the waiter to bring more salad dressing, and even with the dressing it still tasted bland. For $22, the salad was not worth it. The grilled octopus and chicken were good but nothing I would cry home about. The aperol spritz was great. Our waiter always came in a timely fashion, but overall I won't be returning. $97(including 15% tip) for 2 aperol spritz, half of the salad I shared, and the grilled octopus. No thank you, not worth it. If I were to return, it would be at the bar to get a drink. Other than that, a hard no from me.

Such a great meal! Came here on a Thursday night at 8pm and it was packed. There's outdoor dining as well but we sat inside and it was pretty noisy but we were still able to chat.Their wine bottle prices are very reasonable and we had the Domenico which was delicious. We started with the homemade focaccia with three dips which was more like a pita but was absolutely delicious with each dip and the vegan kale salad which was refreshing and crunchy. For our mains we split the margherita pizza and pappardelle which were both incredible and the perfect portion size.We ended with the chocolate mousse which was decadent and had a lovely crunch.Definitely recommend for a date night or small group of friends!

Ambra is a tiny + cozy Italian spot in West Village with a small but thoughtful menu. The menu is not expansive but has some tasty choices. To drink, I highly suggest the Ambra Spritz, maybe 2 rounds for good measure. The Foccacia Appetizer is definitely a must-I enjoyed the spreads served alongside the pizza crust-like bread. As my entree, I had the Pachheri Cacio e Pepe - it was good and very rich and peppery. It could have used a tad more salt, but I enjoyed this take on the classic.Portions here are on the smaller side, so I definitely suggest an appetizer or two like we did. Our server was great as well. The restaurant is on the InKind app, be sure to download and get your cash back: https://app.inkind.com/refer/L4SRGITC

WoW... very nice surprise, I just thought it was gonna be a regular dinner on a Tuesday night, and it turned out to be a culinary experience. Little did I know this is managed by renown chef.Service though amicable it is Sloooow, it took the a good 60 minutes to bring our food but then... it was worth it.

Very good Italian cuisine in the west village.Walked by here a few times and they always seemed busy so I gave it a try. Had the burrata for the appetizer and it was so good. The cheese really does melt in your mouth. It went very well with the arugula salad. The pasta dishes were good as well. I liked my pasta dish with lobster. All of the food came out pretty quickly. It is very dimly lit inside if you like that ambiance.

Nice new hot spot in WV. Given the owner and fresh pastas - I am sure this place will be a hit. We happened to go on a rainy Sunday evening so it was a little less crowded than I thought it would be. Waiter was helpful. Wine list and cocktails have a good variety. Pasta selection is 10/10 truly could eat every one of them. Steak was yummy but it was a little under for us. And my wife got the branzino which she loved. For apps order the focaccia and the artichokes!
