We ordered, the shrimp skewers, chicken skewers, caramelized onion hummus, burrata, grilled octopus and grilled truffle cauliflower for appetizers. For mains we tried a dish that they're thinking about introducing to the menu, a beef ragu pappardelle pasta, the brown butter mashed potatoes and filet mignon. We tried the espresso martini, virgin strawberry mojito, lychee enchanted and spicy margarita for drinks. I liked all the appetizers except for the cauliflower. It was lacking in flavor and the chipotle sauce was weird as well. I think the skewers can also use some more seasoning. The pasta dish for our main was incredible, probably one of my favorites for the night along with the burrata. I would skip the mashed potatoes and the filet was also just okay. Overall, some dishes were hits and others missed the mark. Our server Erika was amazing. She's super sweet and took care of all of our needs. The space is nice too but it can get super crowded. Thankfully we were a bigger party and got a booth but everyone seated in the two seater tables kept knocking things over constantly. The violinist was also very talented. This place is definitely a must try.

Amavi Restaurant is a Mediterranean food, modern decor that creates a vibrant atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the doorman and hostess made us feel warmly welcomed. We started with cocktails at the bar before moving to the dining area, which was equally inviting. For appetizers, the octopus with tzatziki and shishito peppers with tzatziki were absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For mains, the lobster pasta was excellent, though it could have used a bit more lobster, and the lamb chops were tender and full of flavor. The attentive service made the experience even better. We visited on a Tuesday, so there wasn't a DJ, but we're already planning to return on the weekend for the full experience!

Amavi clearly is the new "It Girl" in the city. Once, you step into the restaurant, you're transported into what seems like a , High End Resort Bar/Lounge area. While there, I indulged in the Panasito Dream, with was a succulent cocktail served in a champagne flute. Moving through out the luxurious restaurant, which is decorated with such a keen eye of sex appeal- we sat in the corner booth area. Its was dimly lit and everyone in the restaurant was very ATTRACTIVE. Its baddie central-lol. I ordered the Tuna Crudo with Mediterranean Relish & Kalamata Olives, Shrimp Skewers, and Ribeye with fingerling potatoes. All of which, was HEAVENLY! The ribeye tasted as if the cow was massaged prior to being ethically slaughtered and shipped to Amavi. Definitely, a great date spot. Now You Have The Supreme Touch!

First time going there with 2 of my girlfriends. The aura was very nice and elegant. The host was on point and welcoming. The location of the restaurant was perfect, parking wasn't a problem on that street after 9 pm, just need to pay the meter until midnight if your reservation is late.Yoyo, the manager introduced himself and invited us to brunch this month was very nice of him. We actually plan on attending. The food was very delicious and served at the right temperature. They also gave us a complimentary smoked salmon which was absolutely amazing.

Update:It's been 2 months since my visit and since then, I've reached out to the business manager directly as requested below and never heard back. I followed up twice and received no response. Customer service is clearly not a priority for them and that is still evident now. I was looking forward to changing my perspective on Amavi but it's a shame that this was a missed opportunity to do so.

To sum up the long review: food and drinks were great but due to the service, I will not be back. If you do decide to try it out, the apple tart dessert is the absolute best thing on the menu. I had a 6:30 resy and arrived early so I had a drink at the bar. The bartenders were super polite and welcoming, and the Amavi Martini was really good. When we got to our table, the waitress was a little standoffish. She was annoyed when we said we might do both wine and cocktails (why, I would love to know) and then we also had to order all our food together (apps+main) which was annoying but fine. Food was all great, no complaints. The waitress was never around except to take our order, and we had to keep asking random staff members for more water. The manager came around to check in on us, and mentioned that later in the evening they would have a DJ and hookah. He seemed super sweet but then we didn't see him again. After dessert, they immediately brought our check without asking if we wanted something else. After we paid, we asked if we could still get another round of drinks to which they said yes. A different guy came and told us we had to leave bc the next party was there. We told him that we ordered another round and he just said we can't because we had been there too long, no apology no nothing. Meanwhile, there was an empty table of 4 across from us and seats at the bar, seats that could have been offered to us instead but weren't. I know they just opened but anyone who has experience in the service industry would not have handled the situation in that way. A time limit was never communicated to us and the whole interaction, paired with the rude waitress, just left a bad taste in my mouth. Not to mention the place is not cheap and we spent a pretty penny trying many things off the menu. Such a shame bc this place really has potential.

We came here as a group of 5 people to celebrate a friend's birthday. The space was intimate and quite empty when we arrived. They recommended that we order family-style so we could share everything, but when the dishes arrived, the portions were incredibly small, especially considering the price. We also asked the waiter how many skewers came with an order, and he said two. We politely requested if they could potion it out so that everyone could have one skewer (of course we would pay the extra cost). To our surprise, the waiter made a big fuss about this simple request, which other restaurants would usually accommodate without issue. His demeanor changed, and he gave us a strange excuse for why they couldn't do it.Don't get me wrong, the food was actually quite good! I especially enjoyed their pan-fried branzino. However, due to the price-to-portion ratio and the awkward interaction with the waiter, I won't be returning as a customer.
