We went to Altro Paradiso to celebrate our wedding anniversary and they knocked it out of the park for us. We left so happy and impressed, and wished that we could have been rolled home. Shout-out to Daniella for being such a joyous waitress - she was so exceptionally friendly - and the entirely too talented team of chefs. We had the tuna tartare, salciccia, antipasto, lasagna, buccatini, malfatti, Milanese de vitello, chocolate torte, and mango sorbet. The standouts are so hard to choose, but if I were making recommendations, I'd say you must try the antipasto, the malfatti, and the Milanese! The vibe is so warm and sexy, with dim light, a wall full of wine bottles, and lively pop music playing in the background. However, we did see families out with their kids celebrating special occasions, so don't be afraid to go if you're not out having a romantic time. An absolute standout in the city.

I'm a sucker for an esoteric pasta with an evocative shape. The sachetti at Savino's is one of my favorites, and the cacio e pepe candele at Altro Paradiso has been on my hit list to try some time. The verdict? It's more than just the hype - the pasta has a genuinely unique flavor resulting from its springy texture. I enjoyed the unorthodox cacio e pepe sauce made with peppercorns, which gave the gravy a bite that saved it from slipping into drowsy creaminess.

I had a great experience at Altro Paradiso. No wait time, we were immediately seated, and the food was amazing. Right off of the spring st station, if you're in SoHo definitely come here for pasta. We started with drinks and the ricotta and bread which were fantastic. The ricotta was a delicious spreadable on the crunchy sesame toast, so good. And the we got the arancini which were also perfectly made. The pastas were definitely the highlight including the cacio e Pepe which had the thicker noodle consistency and the gnocchi style pillows with mushrooms and corn. Really good! We finished with the chocolate torte which was decent - but definitely come here for the pasta and the vibes!

We were able to get a last minute reservation for brunch for 4 on Saturday. It's nice and bright inside with attentive servers. Overall the food left a little something to be desired taste wise - especially given the price - but I was glad to check it out. The fennel (finocchio) doesn't look like much but was surprisingly flavorful and the cacio e Pepe had an unusual noodle but was really good as well. The pesto pasta wasn't has rich as I'd like but I'd be willing to try some dinner dishes in the future.

Altro Paradiso has been on my radar for a long time, as I've seen their burger featured in plenty of "best NY burger" food blogs. It is only served during lunch, so it's been hard for me to track down until a recent day off.Luckily, there was a table open when we had walked in, so we were seated quickly, and our order was taken soon after that. When the burger came out, I was surprised by how small/simple it was given the $30 price tag. I took a bite, and while it was good, it was not worth the price. Fries were okay, but I have had better. One thing I did appreciate was the olive oil aioli, which was quite unique vs other places. All in all, it was a fine experience, but if I'm going to be paying $30 for burger and fries, I'm likely to go to elsewhere.

Came in for a lunch on a Friday and managed to get a seat in their patio without issues. The menu was what you would normally expect but the food was phenomenal! The tuna tartar was seriously one of the most delicious things I've had- beautiful flavoured, the texture was minced more finer than usual- I would definitely go back for that alone! Also had the side Arugula salad for some greens and was fresh and the typical arugula salad.

I stopped in for a quick bite to eat after attending a show down the block. Welcomed with a smile. Lunch offerings limited, but always something to nibble on. I ordered the Pane e Ricotta. And the smaller antipasto plate. Enough for lunch and delicious. Luke at the bar was attentive and charming and helpful. See you again soon.

Great service, high end cocktails and appetizers, and a yummy burger. This was steps from my office and so cute with an outdoor patio and inside seating. Servers were well choreographed and showed care, crumbing tables and working as a team. My server made great recommendations and it was a lovely treat yo'self Thursday lunch.

This is an example of a restaurant that did not deliver a good value. I was disappointed in the portion sizes of the pastas and entree's.It tasted good but these were small plates at a premium price.Service was "here are your menus, I will be back to take your orders."Wine list pricing is astronomical!I spent over $400 for two, people and left hungry.Maybe this restaurant could justify this is the past, it certainly does not today.I should have had a clue when it was half empty at 7:00 pm on a Saturday night!

2 stars only because my wife enjoyed her entree. That's the best I can say. There are 3 meat options. 2 out of 3 were unavailable. I ordered the chicken. It was bland, boring, and burned. Took two bites, boxed the rest for my dog, and grabbed a slice afterwards. Skip it. Loud. Bad acoustics. Disinterested staff with zero passion for service. Limited menu items which may or may not be available. Find some place new that hasn't been spoiled by a reputation they're not continuing to earn.
