Solid Dominican food! They're almost always busy and for good reason. I recommend their ribs and spaghetti--my favs! I also like their chicken empanadas the best. Their passionfruit juice and pear & pineapple juice are so good and refreshing. Their oatmeal juice is heavier and tastes just like Yakult LOL. Great to pair with your meal. They're a takeout/catering spot and they're popular around breakfast and lunch, so get here early!

The food here is great, that's not my issue. The service has many times messed up my order. Today might be the last time I order from here. I ordered shrimp stew and white rice, usually it's sent in a black container with compartments..white rice on one side and the stew in the small two compartments. Today I paid over 18 dollars for 5 shrimp, as they only filled one part. This seems ridiculous to me

One of those hole-in-the-wall spots that'll blow your tastebuds away!This place serves up rich, flavorful, high-quality Dominican food that's worth every minute of the long line outside. Mainly a takeout joint with just two tables inside, they cook everything fresh and restock as it sells - and believe me, it sells fast.They close early (between 5:30-7pm) because they sell out during breakfast and lunch. As a Dominican-born foodie, I can tell you, these guys are absolutely killin' it. I just wish they had more locations!A must-try for sure!

Looking for some good Spanish food look no further. It's a takeout spot that has a variety of dishes. The decor is basic as you're coming there for good eats not pretty decor. They tend to be busy so be prepared to stand in line for a little bit. You can't go wrong with the pepper steak or the rotisserie chicken and their red beans and white rice. Oh and the lemonade is worth the price. Even recommend ordering from them through the app as they have never gotten an order wrong

I come from a Dominican family of cooks restaurant owners and when I tell you AUTHENTIC DOMINICAN FOOD this is it!!! I have been to events where they catered, and I'm not going to lie, In Bushwick, If you are having a baby shower or catered event and it's not Alex's food... 88% chance I'm not going, lol I am serious. Their food is so fresh and authentic!!! The arroz con leche... no pero y el dulce de coco!!! Una maravilla!! I never have a photo of my food to share bc it's gone, just gone immediately. No time for pictures!! Nom nom nom Satisfied customer going 10+yrs strong!!

Super fast delivery! The packing of the food was done well. I'm very impressed. The food was delicious! I'll definitely will be ordering again. I had the cracking chicken with white rice and pea stew.

Wow! Everything about this place deserves a perfect 10 out of 10! The service was not only friendly but also lightning-fast. They flawlessly executed our order, and the food? It's simply mouthwatering. Every dish we tried was a delight. Without a doubt, Alex's Luncheonette has firmly secured its place in our regular dining rotation.
