I stumbled upon this bar when wanting to find some warm shelter and drinks from grand central station (the oyster bar was unfortunately closed) and couldn't have been happier with this find! The decor/interior was beautiful, bartenders super nice and friendly, and drinks delicious. I had the orange wine with the bartenders help deciding what to have and it was a great choice. It was so warm, nice and cozy inside here too that it was a great respite after it standing in the cold at a holiday market for 2+ hours. I really enjoyed the fun they had with the decor with records and marketing given its location. Vibes were perfect and definitely wish I could come back, next vacation!

Looking for a midtown bar that doesn't feel like midtown? You found the right spot! Drinks are great and the music kept vibes high. I went on a Monday and have it on my list to go on a Thursday or Friday since we had so much fun! Pro tip! Make a res so you can get a table, more space for apps! Pro tip!

Very underrated!! Love the interior. We arrived around 6 p.m. on a weekday, and they had tables available. This spot is perfect for a date night or grab a drink before a night out. It's very spacious and also has a separate section for a private room, making it perfect for birthdays or other celebrations. The cocktails were well-crafted. I enjoyed the A+B test. I also appreciate that they have a variety of items available on their food menu.Would definitely recommend this cocktail bar to anyone who's in the Grand Central / Midtown East area! It's worth visiting.

Such a vibe - the lounge is really well designed and cozy. A solid drink menu with twists on classics, on the pricier end but a great intimate spot for a date or catch up with friends. Recommend the duck fat fries.

Attended a birthday party here from 10p to 1am and the service was a little slow. My friend was very familiar with the establishment and secured a good deal but was given only one person to handle 20+ drink orders. People had mixed reviews for the drinks. Lots of mocktails. A little loud for date night spot but great ambiance. Co Ed bathrooms.

*READ BEFORE GOING* This bar has a wonderfully unique and beautifully executed ambiance. However, the pricing is simply OUTRAGEOUS. I came here for a date night the first weekend in August. New Yorkers will be well aware that due to it being the heat of summer on the UES, it was quite empty. My partner and I ordered two rounds of drinks and split 1 order of the duck fat fries. Everything was delicious. We enjoyed our evening until we got the bill. It was $165 dollars for two rounds of drinks and 1 appetizer.... HOW. You may be wondering what we had to drink to rack up such an exorbitant bill. I had 1 dirty vodka martini with Kettle vodka and 1 glass of the HOUSE Sauvignon. My partner ordered 1 shot of a mid shelf añejo tequila and 1 shot of the same mid shelf tequila in reposado. My martini was $25, the añejo was 45 (the bottle costs 45 in liquor stores) and the reposado was 30. This pricing is insulting at best and predatory at worst. In no universe is it realistic to charge that much for a shot of mid shelf liquor. If money is no object, then this place is worth a visit as the vibes are very laid back and unique for a dimly lit date night. However, I believe there are a million other special places to bring a date that won't take your wallet to the cleaners.

Talk about false advertising. The last time I was in town, I came by here a little after midnight; and despite Yelp and Google saying it was open until 2 AM, it was shuttered tight. Tonight, I got here a little after midnight; the lights were on, the sign said open, but the door was locked. The bartender was in there with one customer and waved me away when I knocked on the door. Won't bother trying a third time.

Maybe things have changed since I was here over the summer, but there is a note on the menu about the additional artist fees. I agree that this info could be published perhaps by the door, before you come in, but they do share the costs before you order. There's a lot that this bar has to offer. The vibe is very sexy but can also be good for small groups. The music is certainly a key element for the vibe here - better music than you'd find at other bars of this caliber. It is a bit loud, though. Even in a booth seat, it was hard sometimes to hear my two friends. The cocktails are definitely eclectic and unique. The presentation is also lovely. Strong too!We only got karaage, but it was good for sharing and came with a good sauce. Our waiters were not always very present, but it was ok to wait given that we were mostly just hanging out.
