Great Detroit style pizza in NYC! I really like menu options and that they give you three pizza size options. Also, this pizzeria has both a sit down and takeout section, which makes for better service. I chose to eat-in and took me leftovers to go. Customer service is good too. Will be coming back.

Really good option in this area. Delicious, made to order Detroit style pizzas, available in a few sizes. There is a sit down restaurant option on one side and a to go option on the other. The decor is very retro, and the service is fast and helpful.

Ace's Pizza is located on the bottom of Rockefeller Plaza. This is Detroit Style and is amazing! We got the Burrata, the Pepperoni, and the Cheeseburger (pictured). They have a take out side of a dine in side so you can pick your option. They cook the pizza on demand so it's hot and fresh, and doesn't take too long! It's amazing. You won't go wrong with Ace's!

I work nearby and nothing is better than having pizza here for lunch. While it can get crowded the line goes fast and before you know it you are enjoying one of the best mid town pizza places in this area. Ace's is Detroit style pizza and is delicious. The cheese is top quality and the sauce is the real key to its deliciousness. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza and it's more than enough for one person. They have a tiny stand up eating area and a larger sit down place across the way. Overall you can't go wrong here and for $10.50 a great value for an excellent pizza!

I went here a few weeks ago for early dinner. It's in the basement (rink) level of Rockefeller Center. Ace's has a to-go side and a sit-down side. We were on the sit-down side. The space is small, with several tables and some bar seating. The wait got very long right after we got there.Service was good, no issues. We had the cheese pizza (medium) and the vodka burrata (personal). Both were really good, good amount of cheese, nice crust. The pizzas were hot out of the oven, and the portion sizes were ample.I had a nice meal at Ace's. I'm not often in this area, so may not return to this one for a while, but would definitely go to the Williamsburg or LIC locations!

We had aces pizza delivered. We got the the thicker version, called grandma pizza in the city. Nice, pillowy, dough with a crispy, crunchy, crust. The pies had a tangy sauce and great pulley cheese on top. We had plain and pepperoni, and maybe a meat lovers, can't recall as it was gone pretty fast! Delivery was quick. I've seen the restaurant in the building and it looks nice - like an old fashioned NYC pizza place. Give it a try.

Absolutely delicious Detroit Style pizza underneath 30 rock. If you're in the area looking for food before going to see Rockefeller Center or a show at Radio City, it's a great option and the prices are surprisingly not outrageous.I went with the pepper trio pizza plus sausage and pepperoni. Highly recommend!

Second time here I tried the vegetable pizza. It was soooo good! Love loved the crispness of the crust and vegetable assortment. But I realized they say the personal is 5" x 8" and that can't be true because the box doesn't even measure more than 8" Seemed more like a 4" x 6" pie. Knowing it's actually smaller than they say makes it seem pricier than it should be.

We had to grab a slice of pizza while in NYC and we found Ace's first. We loved the Detroit style pizza. The crust was fluffy with crispy edges and the toppings were delicious. Service is fast and nice. The shop is cute and has some seating inside. They do personal sized pizza, which is ideal if you're flying solo. They have tons of options. This is a solid spot for pizza.

Good pizza in retro environs. For an eighties kid like me, this ticks some boxes: wood paneling on the wall like your uncle's house, throwback music on the speakers, 'Duck Hunt' on an 8-bit Nintendo in the corner. But don't forget, we're here for pizza. Right. It's good. It's not my preferred style, but the ingredients are quality and it's clearly done with care. If you're old enough to remember Pizza Hut, you'll probably love it. Think bright Neapolitan (read: uncooked) sauce, quality cheese, loose dough that's crunchy on the bottom and wet on top. (This is not a dig. Pizza Hut made a fortune taking Detroit-style pizza to the big time. It was yummy and affordable and you could get a pizza for free if you read a few books over the summer. Which company is using its multi-national dominance to promote reading today? Oh, right. None of them.) It's also got the cupped pepperonis that everyone has suddenly decided are "authentic" (they're not), but that's ok.There are three locations for this place. We happened to be near Rock Center, so I can only vouch for the service there being speedy and pleasant--but I would assume the best of the other two. We also hit them at a magical time apparently, as we were able to just sit down and order. I hear it gets insanely busy so plan accordingly.
