A to Z Rooftop On the Fifth

First and foremost, if you think Los Angeles and Las Vegas provides the best service you are wrong. Emma, Johnny, and Fernando lead the way in hospitality. If you want to get welcomed and treated as a local while visiting New York we highly recommend dining/drinking at the A to Z Rooftop On the Fifth. Ambiance would be best described as upbeat infused with modern which enlightens your mood and visit. The rooftop provides an Incredible view of the the city accompanied with the perfect mix of music.A to Z's menu can not be beaten. From the appetizers, pastas, steak and ended with an incredible dessert. We have dined at numerous high end restaurants and this has respectfully earned our number one spot.Hands down, the best rooftop, restaurant and bar/lounge. We shall return every time we are in New York.

First off, food is Amazing! Surpassed all my expectations... I tried the bone in ribeye and for someone who doesn't like red meat it was good! The Polpo Alla Griglia aka octopus was so tender and the best I've ever had, the chickpea purée was the perfect pairing.Their Burrata cheese is so creamy and perfect with the tangy tomatoes and olive oil.Ravioli Della Casa with the spinach and ricotta cheese filling was delicious.Bolognese dish was really good too...5 stars for the food! Drinks we ordered were very tasty and perfect along with the view... the music was upbeat. Great spot for date night or hanging with friends.Finally the customer service we got was unmatched to any place I've ever been to...They sang happy birthday and celebrated me like family. Shout out to Edma, Joni and Fernando such good people! You guys were truly thee best!I will definitely be back when in Manhattan.

What a view. Fantastic space to chill and have a refreshing cocktail. We didn't have a reservation and opted only for cocktails, and they didn't disappoint. We got the A2Z cocktail and it was excellent. The service was excellent too. Very friendly servers and the cocktails come out quickly. It's a small venue, but I think if you make it after 5:30, when the sun won't blind you, you'll have a great experience. Simply go into the Centric Hotel and go to first set of elevators and go to 22nd floor! Cheers!

The food was absolutely amazing from the appetizer to dessert. I would 100% recommend anyone to try out this restaurant. I truly enjoyed myself. The service was great even though they were super busy with New Year's Eve patrons. I took off 1 star for 3 reasons: lack of proper warmth for the outdoor igloos, lack of signage for the rooftop portion and not having change for cash yet still charging us the credit card fee.

Delicious food and drinks with a perfect view of the Empire State Building. It was my first time in NYC and this place did not disappoint. The truffle mushroom pasta was a must for my truffle loving palate and my partner was more than pleased with her cacio e pepe, and burrata is always a crowd pleaser. Service was relaxed and great for the environment.

Very disappointed. Here on business by myself wanted to chk out the rooftop bar and enjoy a few drinks. Also picked the hotel for my first night. Felt discriminated. Try to wave down waiter twice as he offered blankets to everyone but me. When i got to ask they said they ran out and i called him out well you offered to the three tables that came after me... also i had to get up to say something. All of a sudden a moment later a new blanket came out.. blanket is not related to food and drink but service is. Lets be real, if i didnt call it out would i get one. No apology whatsoever. Just fake courtesy. I dont know if because im solo.., dont think its a race thing but more of a social issue? Not like im not paying service was still passive and pretended to care unless i waive them down but other table were checked on regularly. Just had a couple of drinks paid and still tipped 18%. For someone who visits new york regularly for work. Never felt like my patronage was unwanted and i think i was nice. I will give them towards the end after i paid and tipped. They did offer me a complimentary glass of rose which i still left cash tip for. The last server was nicer. So ill bump up a star for that. Dont think ill be back though

First time at this establishment. Wait staff was top notch, I'll say that right off the bat. Very attentive and polite. Food was decent but not spectacular, the medium rare steak was cooked to a solid medium. The chicken stuffed with carrots, zucchini, and goat cheese was probably the best dish of the four we ordered. Scampi was just okay, carbonara was a little too dry. The views are pretty good. It is listed as a non-smoking facility and there are signs attesting to that fact but there were people smoking so if you are sensitive to that beware. For some unfathomable reason we did not receive any bread although I noticed on our way out that every table had bread but ours so that was also a disappointment. I like bread. My wife likes bread. My daughter likes bread. My Torsion Wizard likes bread. So disappointment all around there.

Mixed feelings. The view was incredible. Food was okay. They made two substitutions on our meals without telling us. Not acceptable. The place is new, so I am cutting some slack. They are trying to run two restaurants from one kitchen 22 floors apart. This is going to have to be changed. For a romantic cocktail, it's perfect. Dinner? It's NYC. Need to up the hame.

We had a wonderful meal here. The food was great. We had three different meal choices, and each of us found their's to be excellent. My adult daughter had the chocolate bomb and, as a GF woman, she doesn't get desserts often, but she says this was the best! We had a beautiful view from the rooftop. The only glitch was that they had no record of my reservation. I booked online and then called to change it from two people to three, but instead, they canceled it. But they got us in, and our server was fabulous. I gave this only four stars because of the reservation glitch (minor), but the music was really loud. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Rib ee steak was soo tender and juicy. Brussel sprouts were so flavorful.Side salad with the steak. We ordered two pastas ravioli and penne. Everything was 10/10
