Great introduction for our family to Trinidadian food. This barebones (mostly limited high top seating) restaurant gave us a satisfying hearty lunch on a cold wintry day that even our 3 and 5 year old enjoyed. We had the sizeable goat and beef roti - both with delicious and tender stewed fall-off-the-bone meat. A word of warning, the goat still has bones which did make it harder to eat as a roti. We had the shrimp doubles (essentially a fry bread taco filled with a saucy chickpea curry and shrimp filling) and loved it enough that our kids asked for us to go back and order their own doubles which they each polished off in their entirety. Defintely not an issue at $2.50 a pop.

My 2nd time having Trinidadian food and this place didn't disappoint. Great offerings for breakfast and you can see the items behind the glass. The double are so delicious! Surprised we don't have any in SoCal? Not only are they cheap they are healthy and flavorful.Next time in Brooklyn will for sure return.

I tried two doubles here, one with eggplant and one with pumpkin. I loved the chewy exterior and pleasant spices blend of the fillings inside. The pumpkin was especially good with a little bit of sweetness to cut through. At just $3 each, the price is also very affordable as well.

Ordered delivery for a large order, they called me to tell me their food was out of stock and instructed me to cancel my order. Because of this uber won't refund my money as well no food. I've never been so disappointed in a business with their communication. Not surprised since their costumer service usually is subpar. Won't be returning.

Love me some doubles, especially from A&A. On weekends, this place is buzzing - a mix of locals and food fanatics from other boroughs venturing over to have a bite.People are always super nice (not just the people who work here, but all their regular patrons). Sometimes you might see a queue, but line moves fast. Doubles here are perfect - a punch of spice, and the perfect mix of heat/tartness/sweetness. They are ridiculously cheap and super filling. After leaving Brooklyn for Texas, Trini food is one of the cuisines I have missed the most - and whenever I am back in town I always make it a point to stop by A&A. This place never disappoints!

I love A&A. Yes expect sas, they are still kind ladies. I got all the time and order the samething, I know they are sick of me . I love their doubles and the food is so fresh and delicious each time. The location is very homestyled and decently comfortable

This was my cheat day so I wanted two doubles with extra tamarind sauce. I got it, but the person preparing the food started pissing the people in line off. She would make the food and throw it on the counter. Totally unacceptable! I didn't say anything because I was trying to keep a piece of mind, but I promise on my next visit I hope she's not there doing that non-sense. The doubles were great and it reminded me of home - Trinidad. My tip to you, if you decide to go, if you see something, say something. Good luck fellow Yelpers!

I'd rate A&A Bake, Doubles, and Rot four and a half stars.Best doubles that I've had alongside Trinciti in South Ozone Park. The doubles at A&A are spicy and flavorful. The breading is savory, greasy, and sturdy. It's everything you want in a double. The prepared food items seemed at bit limited, but I'd recommend perusing doubles until your heart is content. Doubles are currently priced at $2.50.There are a few tables and a long, narrow counter to quickly eat at. The business seems best suited for takeout. Service was very quick.

Not sure why this place isn't more highly related. Service is so kind and the food was SO good and so cheap. We got the baked salt fish doubles ($4) and the aloo pie with channa ($3.50). Both blew our minds. The saltfish was slightly sweet and slightly salty- unlike anything else I've had. The doubles reminded me of the wrap for peking duck wrap! The aloo pie was the best I've had with a super savory channa filling topped to the brim in a puffy, fried dough. 10/10Very casual shop with not a ton of seating, but so worth a trip out!

Sad to say it was my first time having a doubles. It been long overdue. I was surprised. It was messy, wet, and delicious. I could buy three of these and be satisfied. At $2.50 each it almost felt like a steal. The main reason I came here was for the roti. The massive roti was absolutely stuffed. I got a beef roti and it came out to $15. I wanted the Ox Tail but it was out. The beef was good but I didn't find it to be anything special. The potatoes and curry seasoning was the standout, The roti itself was dry and soft. After a while it couldn't hold everything together and I needed to use a fork and knife. I brought this home and it stayed warm. It's been years since I had a roti like this and I was more than satisfied. If I lived in the area I'd be a regular here. Needless to say, this was very delicious. I can't think of a single complaint.
