98K Fried Chicken

Absolutely love their juicy, spicy (so spicy!!) popcorn chicken, but their fried chicken thighs are really good too.

Thought I'd give this spot a chance after passing by it a couple times. I ordered a 3 pc chicken and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and onions (extra add ons of 0.50 each). While unwrapping, my first thought was the sesame bun looked like a Burger King. It was a decent size piece of actual chicken thigh (not the processed ground chicken) drizzled with a ranch type sauce. The order did take a little while to make and they didn't seem too busy. Over all it wasn't bad. It kept its crunch even after a long walk home. Good batter and it was a filling sandwich. Definitely give it a try if you've never had it. Glad I tried it but I think I'll go around the corner to Popeyes for their chicken sandwiches.

Ordered from here from UberEats. Delivery was fine.On to the food...We ordered 2 chicken wings meals. One spicy, one original. Both came with fries and a soda.The spicy was great. Good crunch. Spicy to the mouth but not too spicy. I got an even number of wings and drumsticks.The original however was not the same breading. Also... they gave me tips! You know the pointy part of the wing? With no meat? Who does that? It was not a true 8 pc. I got 4 of the tips. Smh.I'm not sure I'll order again since not worth my money to get skin and bones.

Alhamdulillah 98K keeps it halal all the time. Hands down one of the best chicken sandwiches in this neighborhood. Staff were great, the prices are affordable, and the value is unbelievable. The place itself is a bit small with a few chairs and self service kiosks to order from.
