67 Orange Street at Back Bar

Very nice, but small bar with nice decor and friendly bartenders. Recommend the cigar old fashioned and the right hand man! Very strong drinks!

What a cute surprise for date night. The 67 Orange Street pop-up if full of details that one can only appreciate if you were familiar with the original venue in Harlem. Luckily, my date is. As you enter through Back Bar at the Kimpton you're met with upbeat vibes. It's an elevated experience, for sure. My date led me to a door with the #67 on it. I remember remarking the door being in such an obscure location that it reminded me of the door in Alice in Wonderland. The 67 Orange Street pop-up is a few feet in from the door, in a corridor. From the moment you step in you are transported to a Harlem Renaissance-esq like room, inclusive of vinyl records and artwork. The music selection is great - my date and I chatted about the nostalgia of the music. We were both hungry, so we ordered small bites from the menu. I had the cheese pizza (per usual) and they had the hamburger. Both were really good. I'm back to my dry ways, so I had the sorrel ginger beer which was refreshing and lightly sweet. Our waiter was able to help me navigate the menu when the mocktails did not appear apparent to me, lol. The only drawback my date expressed from having experienced the original 67 Orange Street was that it seemed overly gentrified. It otherwise has the markings of a speakeasy in Harlem, but my date seemed to miss the sultry basement hideaway they frequented. All in all, we are glad we came. We are looking forward to seeing where 67 Orange Street makes its new home.

Had the best whiskey sour in my life here!!My personal favorite is the Tough Cookies - Bourbon, Port Wine, Lime Juice and Guava. Never thought it's possible to make guava shine so much in a drink without sacrificing the multiple layers of tastes of other ingredients. Just love it sooo much.My first round ordered the Dazzle Razzle - it has so numerous layers on your tongue. You can feel the difference ingredients one by one, including green apple, kiwi, you name it.Pina Colada is also impressive - while it is so common everywhere to see such a classic sweet drink, the Blacktail version is truly an above average level. It has more coconut in it, which gives the drink a note of the roasted coconut flakes. It's very charming.The service is also quite good! We actually arrived ~45 minutes earlier than our reservation (dinner finished quicker than expected) but we were accommodated immediately. Really appreciate it.

Bryan was a lovely server. He was able to create a wonderful custom drink. He was very attentive and the ambiance was lovely. The DJ played deep cuts and the vibes were impeccable. My name is Allison Marie, and Gabe McGaha is so beyond awesome. I have a huge crush on him (*cues Mets OMG music*).

From the moment you enter Back Bar you are in vibes paradise. The interior is stunning & chic and the energy is the most welcoming & chill. Shoutout to Will, Liam, & Ash and their outstanding service. Blacktail is back! Beautiful space, great atmosphere, drinks better than ever. This place and a slushie machine and you've got all you need in life

Had a reservation at 10pm.Waited 20 minutes by the door, we were never attended. Had to go up to the waiter, who told us it would be 15 minutes.After 10 minutes we were given complimentary drinks.We left after waiting an hour total. See you in Harlem

To say I missed BlackTail is an understatement! So excited that they are back and love the new space! As always the cocktails are delicious and the service is top notch! I celebrated my birthday there and had mid week happy hour drinks there and both were exceptional. I would say that the space gets a little busy later in the night but it's totally with a little wait for the best cocktails! The food menu is light so I would recommend grabbing a bite beforehand! Highly recommend and will be back

Blacktail serves some of the best cocktails I've ever had! Great atmosphere, great service, and a great Cuban sandwich made it a night to remember! Can't recommend this place enough!
