This is a great spot for breakfast or lunch. We went in 2 days in a row between games next door. One day we had lunch, one day we had breakfast. The Gobbler or grilled cheese for lunch are both great choices and big enough to share! Eggs and bacon breakfast was a hit as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

It was a nice surprise as we came from my child's Dr's appointment... This is an up & coming area I was unaware of since I live in Surprise AZ. Atmosphere is vibrant, HUGE windows with pristine white drapes/curtains to give it a very upscale classy touch.Easy to follow "how to order" guide to the menu was perfect! Thank you! A cozy lounge area to the right as you walk in ( no kids allowed (Fabulous & appreciated) I was hurt I brought my son & couldn't sit there but next time he can stay home . Sometimes adults just don't want to be around other folks kids, crying babies etc. No shade, just truth. Some folks can't control their kids. We had the banana bread with heavy delicious frosting ( yes please) . "The Becky" ( bacon & egg on toasted bread)Needed a lil bit more mayo & my son added my guacamole to it"The Tots" had sausage gravy ( I didn't really taste the sausage ) fried egg, I added the guacamole , added the salsa (salsa not for me, low flavor) & loved the jalapeños. ( please add more on top instead of under the egg) OJ was pre-made & great! ( just pick it up at the counter (sealed). The coffee was fine just not strong enough ( vanilla latte & a coffee with cinnamon that needed added sweetness for me. Nice lil side hustle trinkets to buy, some "Branding" items, bath bombs, scented oils, decorative ornaments can be purchased etc. Absolutely a cute antique/modern-hip vibe type of Cafe shop. A gracious young lady was quick to clear our table as we ate.. They give you a wooden spoon with your order # on it to place in the coffee bean jar on your table.. I really enjoyed this surprisingly new spot. Music is low but nice. The cashier was welcoming and smiled the entire time.. Bravo

I've wanted to try the new penny cafe for a while, as it's local and I'm always looking for a good neighborhood hangout. We finally stopped by after leaving my son's doctors appt. He's 11 days old and I needed a "mama pick me up". We hadn't planned on staying, so we ordered coffee and food to go. We sat in the "lounge" area I guess, which is near the bar at a round table with a couch (we picked this spot so we had somewhere to put the car seat) we ordered drinks and sat for a few before going to pick them up.. there is a sign on the table that says no minors under 16 in the lounge area. As my son is 11 days old and cannot lift his head much less cause an issue in the "lounge" (and we weren't staying) we figured it would be fine to chill for a few. As my fiancee and I went to pick up our orders an employee approached my mother (funny how she waited until the parents were gone) and told her that he couldn't be there.. seriously?? He's 11 days old and SLEEPING. I approached and asked what the issue was. She never spoke to me, or looked in my direction. Clearly my 67 yr old mother (although she looks young) is not the parent, so why not address me? she told my mom "I just wanted to make sure you weren't ordering food" and walked away. If I hadn't already paid I would've left without purchasing anything. Like lady, give me a break. Had you waited 2 mins you would've seen we weren't staying.. it's 12pm on a Thursday, I highly doubt my son was going to get loose and start stealing liquor bottles. it felt very unwelcoming and unnecessary. Sad, because I enjoyed my beverage and my snack. But it was giving "we don't want you here" I'm all for establishments having rules and regulations. Do you! But know when to assert "power" and when to relax. We were there less than 20 mins. I gathered my things and left.

My husband and I came here on a whim a week ago. I really enjoyed everything about this spot. The coffee shop vibe but with a nice (not overwhelmingly large) food menu. It was quite busy and looked like a lot of meetings were taking place across the large space as well. My husband is a pretty standard All American breakfast eater and they do not offer anything like that. So, if that's you as well this likely isn't your jam. I had the chicken sausage biscuit. It was massive (see leftover biscuit on my plate) and added the potato patty's. A little greasy for me but tasty. My husband got the biscuits n gravy. Good, not great. We had to ask them to warm the biscuit up. We also tried a cinnamon roll, same asked if they could warm it a tad so it wasn't so firm. It was really yummy. I didn't try coffee but will definitely go back to do so. I saw a few lunch items that were delivered to tables while we were there as well that looked appetizing. Will be back!

Food is ALWAYS amazing. Didn't get a photo of my coffee, but got the cookie butter cream iced coffee and it was great! We used the mobile order feature this time around and my only complaint is when ordering the lavendula, it mentions "try it on a blueberry bagel!" But then doesn't give the option for the blueberry bagel on the mobile ordering. Regardless, the food is always phenomenal!

Food is delicious. Tacos are crunchy and tasty. Dragonfruit bowl absolutely amazing and I love the portion is huge. Restaurant decorations very modern and beautiful. You line up and place order, grab the number and put it in the table. Food comes very fast. Will definitely come back to try other items on the menu.

I'm not sure if they hired new people, but service was definitely lacking today, 8/6/24 9am. Ordered French toast bites, tots, tacos, and 2 drinks. The French toast bites were good, the breakfast tots was okay, but I wouldn't order again, and the Tacos AM was disgusting. They gave me 3 burnt tacos. Why would you ever burn food, look at it, and think it's good enough to give to a paying customer. So disappointed.

We just ordered this through Uber eats and wanted to try something new and this place did not disappoint. Everything from the French toast, breakfast sandwich, and breakfast tots were large enough to share and it all tasted incredible! We will be ordering this from now on to try their whole menu! Worth it!

I came in (unknowingly) half hour to close, but staff was super friendly and helpful to me ordering my first time! I got one of their natural plant based energy drinks which was exactly the kind of flavor I was hoping for. They made my drink super fast! I love the open sunny atmosphere and supporting local indie business like this. It was very clean with lots of windows and a cute gift shop to browse. I will certainly be back!

BRUNCH place near by! WOOOOOO and they are good. This serve drinks, breakfast, and lunch. I love that they have indoor and outdoor sitting, then a separate area for alcohol beverages. This place is in the BLVD plaza, plenty of parking. I have been here several times (dine in and online order pick up). All the staff there is always friendly, attentive, and gets my order right. Sausage, Egg, and Cheese - 2, YES two sausage patties! Very good and hearty. I should have ordered a side of something potatoes, always next time.AZ Benedict Burrito (tortilla filled with penny potatoes, two eggs, shredded cheese, our thick ham patty, and a homemade green chile hollandaise sauce) - Who has green chile hollandaise sauce???They drinks are VERY GOOD too!Iced Matcha Milk Tea - get the large but you will want more!Sunset Green Iced Tea (unsweetened green tea with hints of raspberry, orange, and lemongrass. Yes, get a LARGE too. I can't want to go back! Thanks for being right down the street.
