Zora Christina Catering

ZoraChristina catered our 2018 Thanksgiving dinner. It was fantastic! From the appetizers to the cakes, everything was delish! The food was so good, we went to the restaurant to order other food from the menu. It was so good, we ordered food to take back with us. Now that all the leftovers have been eaten, I'm looking for recipes that come close to what we had. My compliments to the chef and wait staff. The next time we're in town , we'll be back.

I took a chance on ZoraChristina today. I had been seeing good reviews on Facebook so I decided to give it a try. We ordered the crawfish bread as an appetizer and it was delicious! That was just the start. Our orders came with salads which were just the right size. My friend ordered the steak which came topped with grilled onions and sliced avocado. There was also a side of scalloped potatoes. Very good flavor in all. I had grilled chicken Alfredo. (I could tell there was no way I was going to be able to eat it all so I asked for a to go box to put half in before I even started eating). The chicken Alfredo was delicious I wouldn't change a thing. Once the word gets out on how good ZoraCristina is, they will need to find a bigger place.

The food is seasoned and is made with love. The blackened shrimp michelangelo is delicious. The shrimp are cooked just right, the sliced eggplant has a little kick to it, and the angel hair pasta was cooked just right. This wasn't the original dished I planned to order but I will definitely be back.

This place is amazing some of the best chicken wings I've ever had. Will definitely be going back!

Discovered this gem through a good friend. The food is always EXCELLENT! The staff friendly and welcoming. I've had also met the owners and their just like the food good and memorable. Some complain about the wait. Guess I life most good things ARE worth the wait. We also use them to cater our lunch at Bayou Ford. When the staff knows that days lunch is coming from Zora Christina there's a line up at the door.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Laplace. The food is exceptional, hot and freshly cooked. I actually asked the cook to go home and slap his momma or somebody! We had the seafood lasagna, the white beans with blackened shrimp and the shrimp Christina. I have found my spot for regular dining.

My sister was visiting from Utah and we planned to get a good catfish dinner and also support benefit dinner for Jayla. We went to Zora Catering for the dinner a few minutes after 6 and were told they sold out of benefit meal at lunch. So asked if we could get catfish off menu and told yes. We placed order paid for food and sat for 1 hour watching many huge take out orders that had been called in be filled. Now after 7 pm - still no food (or even a drink of water) we explained we had tickets for Grease and show would be starting at 7:30 so please refund our money. The one girl hostess, waitress went to kitchen to check our order , then went out and took someone else's order. Finally received our money and left. I lost count of how many people came in to order for Jayla and ended up leaving. Very poorly run. They could have told us it would be a one hour wait - or they could have gotten more whatever food earlier when they saw they were running out, they could have made a quick handwritten sign and put on window. The Catholic Church runs their fish dinners during Lent much more smoothly. Zora's catering could learn from them. What a shame that so much money was lost for Jayla's benefit dinner. I'm definitely avoiding Zora's in the future.

I was thoroughly disappointed with these people. Four of us at work ordered from this place and two of us got the shrimp and grits lunch special. Not only did our order take forever, which I found out AFTERWARDS is common over there, it turned out the shrimp and grits 'lunch special' was ONLY some grits with a few shrimp. Period. My other two coworkers got a main dish, side dish, bread and even desert, while my same order coworker and I got a side dish, or appetizer at best, by itself. What's worse is we paid MORE for our simple dish than the other two! $15 for a single item while a full course was a few dollars less! We were told nothing about how the shrimp and grits was by itself, nor were we offered any compensation when my coworker called and complained about this joke of an order! She had to order herself another lunch from elsewhere while I was offered a share of someone else's. Three of us agreed we're never ordering from this place again, and we've already spread word amongst our workplace to NOT order from them in the future if they want to get their money's worth.
