My mom and I took this tour on our last night in New Orleans and had a BLAST! John is a fantastic tour guide - it's clear how passionate he is about the city and its history. The tour was the perfect mix of interesting facts and spooky stories. Perhaps the best part of the tour - John took us to some amazing bars I would never have found myself! He wove each stop in perfectly with the story he was telling. I can't recommend this tour enough! A must on your trip to New Orleans!

John is a great host and tour guide! He took us around to places I haven't been before and this is my 4th time here. He told us great historical chilling tales and he brought us to some interesting bars and told us about the history of the spirts and cocktails. He's very kind, entertaining and we wouldn't hesitate to book him again when we come back! 10/10 book him today!

To start , there got to be hundreds of walking tours to choose from in the New Orleans , but This has got to be the best walking tour I've ever been on. We had a rather large group and John was so accommodating! Also his knowledge of the city is impressive . Which makes the tour all the more engaging . He has a wonderful story telling style and just to to clear , we took the historical ghost tour . Half of our group were really into the scary stuff the other were scary cats and were unsure about even coming . But John had a bit of everything for everyone to enjoy the tour . The best part was the local bars we stopped at . He recommended drinks and even help take the order so we wouldn't be stuck waiting around too long . And while enjoying our delicious cocktail , a spooky story or lovey tale of the drink was told . My absolute favorite spot had to be our last bar , which seemed like only local venture to. The drinks were cheap but soooo delicious !! I would definitely recommend John for your next spooky tour . And even if that's not your style , I believe he offers other tours . I'll definitely be checking them out next time I visit . Great job , 5 stars all around !!

Our Cocktail and Ghost Crawl with John was exactly what we were hoping for and more! The story telling was top notch and kept us on our toes. The drinks were all great quality. My favorite was Julie and The Roffignac. John answered all our questions and gave us amazing recommendations! There are too many things to do in New Orleans and John helped us zero in on the tops bars and places to visit. We loved Luizza's, their BBQ shrimp was delicious!*Fun fact - BBQ in New Orleans means butter.Communication with John was a breeze, we ran late and was able to meet up with the rest the tour with ease. I highly recommend booking a tour with John! We got to know New Orleans on a deeper level because of this tour! *TIP - book a tour with him on his website instead of Airbnb! Support local business!

John was a really great storyteller and has a great grasp on New Orleans history. I'm really not much of a tour person, but I'd recommend John any day. It wasn't cheesy at all and he really made the stories interesting. We did the cocktails and spirits tour. Online booking was easy. It's a smaller group, which I really liked. Our tour weather was not awesome (a weird very cold day on our trip), but we all still had fun despite none of us having packed a much needed coat. It's a walking tour, but it's fairly a compact and flat area, so it wasn't strenuous at all. I personally didn't care for the bars on the tour. Mid-20s me would have loved them. Mid-40s me would have preferred something a little less dark, loud, and crowded. To each their own though. The drinks were good, though perhaps a warning about the alcohol content in the hurricane at the second bar might have been in order. He did mention that one of the drinks was strong, but heads up - while it tastes like no alcohol at all, it contains like 5 shots or something and it sneaks up on you. He did issue some warnings about pre-gaming responsibly, which I can see for sure. If you arrived several drinks in and then had one of those plus the absinthe and a Sazerac over an hour and a half, you'd be DRUNK. A couple other things to know - the tour was $30 (well worth it) and then we spent another $40-50 on drinks. We forgot to tip at the time, but sent one via Venmo later. Also, the tour was 5-7pm. We didn't know that meant that you arrive at the last bar right at 7. If you are planning something for after, add some time for ordering, drinking, and paying for that final cocktail.

John's tour was so fun! It was the perfect balance of history, ghost stories, and interesting facts about iconic cocktails in New Orleans. This is actually our second time on John's tour and it was even better! We got to hear some new story/facts and tried a new cocktail. So much fun and highly recommend. The group is small and intimate, and John is such a great storyteller and guide. He gave lots of recommendations for the rest of our trip too.

John came highly recommended by a friend of mine and now I know why! He was friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and above all passionate about what he does. All questions were answered with even more in-depth knowledge. The ghost stories mixed with the different amazing bars we went to made for such a fun and great night for our large group! The stories were just as good as the drinks! A good plus was he was able to order drinks ahead of time so we didn't have to wait to long. If you are in town please please do this with John! Big groups or small, the Cocktails and Ghost Crawl is the way to go! Thank you John for the great experience!

Great small boutique tour from an energetic and knowledgeable guide. Smaller group size means you can hear everything and don't overwhelm the bars when you show up.
