Like many others here, I ordered some furniture and paid for it. Now they have my money and I do not have my furniture. That was six weeks ago. The husband was not at all nice when I placed my order. It was a bit uncomfortable and I now wish I had listened to my instincts. I should have left when he was more interested in his cell phone than helping me. I do not for one minute believe all of the good reviews all of a sudden. wouldn't be surprised if it was the owners or their friends.

UPDATE: Eventually we DID get the bed. I picked it up on Tuesday after Wayne agreed to text me a picture so I knew for sure it was ready. We really, really like it and think it looks great. However, it's about two inches too small for a king-sized mattress and is going to need to be repaired. Wayne offered to do this and we suggested that perhaps when our tables are ready (which of course they told us were ready weeks ago but are not), maybe he could deliver the tables and take a look at the bed. That was Wednesday morning and we've gotten no response since.So - they did pull through (sort of) and I'm hoping we'll get our tables and they'll make the bed situation right. To be determined.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I placed an order with Dawn April 15, 2020. I was told it would be 2-3 weeks before it would be ready which was okay! 4 weeks go by and I haven't heard nothing so I reached out to Dawn never got a response till May 24th and she told me my order would be ready that week. Then she messaged me saying it would be ready for pick up on June 5th my sister happened to go into labor that day and I let Dawn know and haven't heard back from her at this point it's June 11th haven't heard anything called the shop they knew nothing so I messaged dawn no response until June 13th and she was thanking me for being so patient and my table was on the north shore? No clue why if her shop is in KENNER, she then told me she was going to process a refund (which I never got) I told her multiple times I don't want to refund id just like to pick up my order and she told me "She'd honor my table and refund" since my 2-3 weeks turned to 2 months and that my table will be at the shop the next day and didn't hear a word from her. I messaged her multiple times and days passed I finally got annoyed to the point I made a post on social media how she's playing with my table. Never mentioned her name nor business name but once I made that post she FINALLY reaches back to me with my post saying "Maybe you should do business elsewhere" after already taking my money and having me wait 2 months and ignoring me for weeks till I spoke up about it! So we were texting back and fourth and she had me contact her husband if I had an issue with not receiving my order and he told me "Nha you can't pick it up we deleted you from our end so as far as it goes we don't even know you" . I was planning on just going to the shop Monday to talk to Dawn or look further into my refund she said she sent and the next day Dawn called me crying apologizing to me telling me that her husband GAVE MY TABLE AWAY and a few other things I won't mention but she left him and that she wants to make things right by making my table herself and that it would be ready in 4 days and I'd hear back from her. Here we are three weeks later haven't heard anything, called the shop they're clueless , every personal number I have for her was disconnected so I sent her a message on Facebook and she just read it. Dawn has owned many other business before that failed "Cajun Farm House" is one of the few. Edited to add: The owners have obviously asked their friends to write good reviews or perhaps they did it themselves. Lots of good reviews from people who have never posted a Yelp review in the past. Very suspicious! Where were these people before? Don't believe it!I bought furniture from this husband and wife team last month. I paid cash in full. They have never contacted me. The furniture was supposed to be ready weeks ago. After reading the other two reviews, I am now worried that this is a pattern where they take your money up front and then don't give you your furniture.Do not buy from this place unless you want a hassle.

PLEASE BEWARE: ALL OF THE 5 reviews are the owners' friends and family. They are all lying just like the owners. Do not believe them!!If I could give ZERO stars I would! I ordered and PAID UPFRONT IN FULL on April 14, 2020 and was given a 4 week time frame. It is June 16, 2020 2 months later and NO FURNITURE!!! This is theft. No one answers their phones. They let the store phones ring off the hook. They have disabled their Facebook business page so there is NO way to reach them. I have filed a claim with my bank. Thank god I used my debit card because I would be SOL (sh!? outta luck!). P.S., my order was over $1000!6/15/20: Spoke with the wife Dawn Parta on Friday, 6/12/20, of last week and my order will SUPPOSEDLY be ready for pick up Thursday 6/18/20. Yeah right, we shall see!!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! They are frauds! This is RIDICULOUS!!!UPDATE: it's Thursday June 18, 2020! STILL NO FURNITURE! No calls, no sort of communication of the owner's part. I had to call the store 3 times before a female by the name of Angelea answered and said that Dawn was busy doing a table and couldn't come to the store, sure she was. She said that Dawn told her that my order wasn't done yet and it will PROBABLY be done this evening, but MOST LIKELY tomorrow. Still no definitive answer. She said Dawn will call me back "later" to follow up with me. I know for a FACT she won't. This is utterly ridiculous! UPDATE 2: Was suppose to pick my furniture up on Saturday June 20, 2020 for 11:30am. Before heading out, received a text message from Dawn stating that my furniture was not completed and I would get a refund and she would send me a refund receipt. It's Tuesday 6/23/20 and no receipt and STILL NO FURNITURE!!! Update 3: It's July 2, 2020 and I STILL DO BOT HAVE MY FURNITURE!! And DAWN HAS CHANGED HER CELL PHONE NUMBER!!!I strongly warn you, it'll behoove you NOT TO BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!

UPDATE: It is now the end of July, and I still haven't received my refund from them. I have now reported them to my bank. They are investigating this "business". Next, I will report them to the police if I do not get my almost $600 back. BEWARE OF SCAM!!!! I ordered my table back in April. (It's now mid June) I never received my table. I paid up front. They say they are going to give me a refund, but it's been a week and my bank still hasn't received a notice of a refund. They NEVER answer the phone. They deleted their Facebook page. They told me every excuse in the book. One excuse was that their delivery truck broke down. I offered to go pick the table up myself, but they wouldn't let me. Their lack of communication and professionalism is inexcusable. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE A CHANCE! All I wanted was my table, but they wouldn't give it to me. Is this business even real??

I ordered and paid upfront for a dining table on May 19th. It was supposed to be delivered in four weeks (by June 16). That date passed. I called, and they could give no information on my order. I sent a message on Facebook Marketplace to the owner. She said they hadn't written down what type of table I wanted. We cleared that up. They'd make it and deliver on June 30th. The 30th came, and they called to reschedule because they're overbooked. Delivery will now be July 8th. I called them on the 8th to confirm they were coming. Somehow, they still didn't have the type of table written down. I was told they would "make it for me" and someone would call me back to schedule delivery, but it would not be today because "other orders were in front of mine." No one called. I called them. No one answered. I called again the next day and again no one answered. In the course of these conversations, I've been told all sorts of reasons that there were problems in filling these orders. While I understand the strains of this period of time on small businesses in particular, at this point, none of those issues are relevant. I purchased a table over seven weeks ago, and they can't seem to keep track of what I ordered or communicate with any basic level of decency. I don't believe it's a scam, but they are doing their best to make sure it looks like it.

I wish I could give them zero stars. They never painted my chairs and when I brought them back to be painted I never got them back! Horrible business! And the bench and table is poorly made! The table isn't level and the bench dips in the middle. Regret spending my money with them... Wooden It Be Perfect if they didn't steal my money!!!! ZERO STARS!!!New Update: And on top of everything, they blocked me on Facebook!!!
