I give Westwego Seafood all five stars because they make delicious local seafood favorites at amazing pricing. I tried calling in to place a takeout order but no one picked up. Lucky for me, I was staying down the street so I popped in and placed my order in person. The order would be ready in 25 minutes so I left and ran errands. I came back and the food was ready.Get the full 12" poboys! My favorites are the shrimp and oyster poboys. The bread is fresh while the proteins are fried to perfection. Don't forget to add fries to your poboy.

Poboy as are very good as well as the turkey necks. This place is definitely better than Westbank grill!

I stood at the counter waiting to be served when the lady behind the counter looked me dead in my eyes, and walked away from the counter. I stood there for a second and decided that this was not the place I wanted to spend my money with and walked out the door.

I had crawfish,sausage and potatoes it was my first time here it was really good had a nice flavor. I forgot to take a picture but would definitely recommend.

It's been years since I have been here and it's still amazing! First I must say the only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is due to the interior of the establishment and garbage in the parking spaces. As far as the food goes you will NOT find a better place to get fresh boiled seafood or anything true to the south. The fish is fried perfectly and juicy. The crawfish boiled turkey necks are full of flavor and fall apart tender. The po boys are on point and not soaked in grease like some places. Wish I had a picture but I forgot and ate my food immediately lol.

This spot was out of basically everything I wanted and other items were not available because the kitchen was closed. The only positive thing was the doors were open. I will not be returning.

The only place I get crawfish from on the Westbank. Always hot, juicy, and seasoned just right. A little pricy. Currently 3.49 for 5lbs or more. But I would recommend.

Came here to try my first crawdads! don't say crawdads though say crawfish or she will have NO IDEA what you are talking about lol they were a bit spicy so it was sooo good. Kinda sucked that they had no "dips" like butter or ketchup for the fries... got fried oysters... wanted some ranch but for my first time not bad....loved that they were so HUGE too!

Hours are posted that they are opened until 7:30pm. We arrived about 7:15 and told with crazy looks that the kitchen is closed. Looks like you can only get snacks & beverages. Hours should change to 7:00 pm. Very disappointed.

Great place for fresh seafood. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. If you are traveling bring a cooler or two and if you don't have one they have coolers to go.
