What a great restaurant! It is so difficult with restaurants and having new things to offer but this place did it! I had the Cajundilla and it was delicious! It had Boudin, Andouille Sausage, pepper jack cheese. Our server was super sweet and nice. She was professional and made some great recommendations. This is straight up a sports bar and it is a comfortable environment

Food was great! Started with my favorite appetizer here the fried pickles. As always, they were amazing! For my entree, I ordered the ragin' redfish which was a nice piece of blackened redfish on top of rice. I subbed out the broccoli that comes with this entree for the loaded mashed potatoes and chose the lemon butter as my fish topping. Fish was fresh and seasoned perfectly. Loaded mashed potatoes were good but the portion was small for the additional price you pay when switching out a side. Service at this location was fast and my waitress was nice. Giving this visit 4 stars instead of 5 since the restaurant could use some cleaning. The windowsill near my booth was very dusty.

I recently visited this restaurant for dinner on a Sunday evening, and it did not disappoint when it came to the food. The mozzarella logs were truly massive and perfectly fried, with a crispy golden crust that gave way to ooey-gooey cheese. These were easily the best mozzarella sticks I've had in a long time. The grownup grilled cheese was another highlight -- indulgent, cheesy, and full of flavor. It's clear the kitchen knows how to nail comfort food. The atmosphere was interactive as the game was playing on several screens, making it a great spot to unwind and hang out with friends. While the service could have been a little more attentive --we were never brought silverware or paper towels and had to get up to ask for some -- the overall experience was positive. If you're craving satisfying, generously portioned comfort food in a relaxed setting, this place is definitely worth a visit. I'll be back for another round of those mozzarella logs!

TAST-TAYY... eaten at this location a few times but tonight was the BEST! We were craving something extra burgers and I had a special. Burger has beignets as the bun WITH a healthy serving of bacon and cheese! WOW-wee! On fire! Not an over sized plate but just enough with sweet potato fried! FABTASTIC!Service was good, as usual and wine infused beer wrapped it all up! Sports bar noise but knew what we were getting into. Wish I had a pic but it looked some as menu pic and I gobbled it up!

When walking into Walk-Ons I always expect a lengthy cheese pull from the Mozzarella Logs and I have not once been disappointed. I also ordered the sliders that i cannot remember what they were called (oops). The chicken one was sweet and enjoyable and the hamburger one tasted as you'dexpect

This restaurant is in a good location near the Cabela's and a few other restaurants. we stopped by for lunch. The service was great and we seated promptly. I ordered the Cajun press, which is shrimp, bell pepper, onions, grilled French bread that was pressed. It was very delicious. I will be back if I am in the area.

Went for lunch today at 11:30 and we had to wait about 5 minutes for our table. Our waiter was great and our food came out fast. My chicken avocado club was big and had a great taste. My only complaint was that the windowsill where we were seated was very dusty and would make the atmosphere a lot nicer if it was clean.

I wouldn't say anything bad about this place because I know it serves a purpose. Seems like a great place to go to have a few drinks and watch the game and get a quick bite to eat with friends but I ended up getting the chicken avocado sandwich, and it wasn't that spectacular. The chicken was a bit rubbery and kind of tough. Not much flavor. I stopped by on my way home from work one day and was hoping for better The waitress was nice as was everyone else. I liked the look the place. It may not be my first place to go to the next time I have some time in Gonzalez.In conclusion, while my chicken avocado sandwich experience at Walk-On's Bistreaux in Gonzales may not have been the best, I'd still recommend giving this spot a try for a fun night out with friends or a casual bite to eat. Just be sure to explore the menu and choose wisely, lest you wind up with a less-than-stellar meal.

Great food when they actually get your order right... have had multiple issues with their to-go on numerous occasions This is the 3rd time in row we're missing a whole meal but usually we're missing small thing like a dressing to go with a salad or once we got chips but not spinach dip!
