Voodoo Authentica

A very interesting place to visit while in New Orleans. The staff is very polite and knowledgeable and promote positivity. There's a wide selection of items. The value is reasonable especially due to it's authenticity

This was a cool store!! Our walking tour guide told us about it and how they are the real deal and sell interesting stuff like a love potion perfume, so we decided to visit the next day! It was super cool to visit! They have signs you can read about what each item is and I think altars for other things that people leave stuff for! I also saw the store on YouTube and TikTok and it was worth a visit! They have a lot of stuff their to choose from and I think they also do readings. The two lady's working were super nice too. It feels like the real deal there too!! We went to a different voodoo store after and the energy felt super different than this one. I'd recommend this store to those that are interested!!!

Great shop! There was so much in there! This is a great shop if you are looking to learn about voodoo, or if you want to practice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The items were also priced decently. There is even a website.

I've been here a couple of times for readings. It's a cool shop with lots of interesting items. The readings are some of the more reasonably priced in the quarter and feel more "authentic" than others. I recently brought my daughter in for a reading and she was blown away by how accurate it was right out of the gate. Great vibe, super friendly people... zero complaints. It will always be on my list of places to visit when I'm in town.

I've came here three times over the years for readings. I find every person I've had to be delightful and thoughtful. They are polite and clearly talented. I look forward to going back. It's great value for money. Their shop also has a nice selection of bits and bobs if that's your thing too

This is an authentic shop! It's a great vodou shop. I love all the artwork, and they carry many orishas from the Yoruba people of West Africa. Orishas are deities that help people in their daily lives. They have several alters in their back room, including Osun and Sango, with many offerings from guests worldwide. This is a true cultural center. They have books, herbs, candles, spells, cascarilla, Florida water, and more.

I had an incredible experience with Kamille, who read my tarot cards. She is fantastic and was so spot-on that I have no doubt about her authenticity. I received the confirmation I needed on several matters. Since I have some experience with tarot, I could tell that she was truly genuine in her reading. I will definitely be returning for another session.

Really enjoyed visiting Voodoo Authentica. Definitely speak to the folks working there to get a lay of the land. They shared with me that everything there was about positivity/positive energy.
