I was doing a little shopping next door and was craving a salmon box. I've seen this place dozens of times but I always forget about it until I'm in the area. I asked the server how many pieces come in their salmon box and she told me 8. I received the order and it was 6 pieces. It just tasted off..salmon was fresh but the imitation crab was super dry and the rice wasn't the greatest. I was starving so I ate it but this salmon box wasn't great at all. I've eaten this tons of times so I do know what it should taste like. I didn't receive anything to eat it with in my to go bag. I didn't see anything on their menu that sounded good enough for me to want to make a return visit unfortunately.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this little hole in the wall sushi restaurant. It can compete with the best sushi restaurants, and yet not many people know about it. The sushi is always fresh, there are so many options besides sushi, the wait staff are the kindness and sweetest people on earth, and I have never had a bad meal here. I love thay complimentary Noodle bowl too! Keep up the perfection!

Unagi has some of the best sushi in town. You would never think it since it's kind of a whole in the wall. They have good specialty rolls and they're appetizers are bomb! You can have good sushi for a good price. This is one of my go to places for good sushi.

Just stumbled upon this place while I was visiting my family in Louisiana. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the place is pretty good. The flavors are decent, the portion sizes and presentation are great, and the overall taste is great. I gave 4 stars solely on the sushi being a tad warmer than I like. It wasn't like warm warm, but it wasn't cold either. The service was excellent, our waiter was amazing. All my years living in Louisiana before moving to Texas I never knew this place existed. So go check it out!
