Two Sprouts

I'd been meaning to stop in at this small shop at Christmas and somehow never did. As I was driving by, I realized they were open so I popped in. The shop does shutdown at 3 pm on Saturday.It is primarily a children's store but they do carry some of their designs in adult sizes. Clothes, gifts, jewelry, stationery, and artwork that is fun and unique.Many of two sprouts items are available in other shops around town. But this spot also carries lots of other items. I bought a couple of super cute items for a friends little one (shark plate & utensils) and a great king cake t-shirt for myself.The owner was at the store and she was very helpful. I'm pretty in love with my Marie Antoinette Let them eat King Cake tshirt.

Always helpful! Cute shop. Easy to get to. Nice to be on Metairie Road and not have to fight the crowds at the mall or Veterans.

I've shopped at this store for years and I am always so pleased with the amount of local goods in the shop! The quality behind every product is always a priority for Two Sprouts. Another great plus is that everything is at a reasonable price. Gifts for all ages and great gifts at any price. I've also ordered custom invitations for my daughters birthday party and Amy went above and beyond to capture what I pictured for my daughters celebration.

Can you say, "Going Out of Business"? I stopped by this store and found it seemingly empty. After standing alone for several minutes, an elderly woman finally appeared from the back. She did not greet me, not even a smile folks. She appeared confused and I took the initiative and introduced myself. I stated I was looking to get some stationery designed for a party but this seemed to further bewilder the woman. As this was my purpose for visiting this store I quickly became frustrated. I asked if anyone else could assist me and she replied yes later that afternoon at 4. Mind you, this was 11a.m. and I had visited this store specifically for this purpose on my lunch break. Oh well, maybe I caught the place on a bad day when the actual employees were out but first impressions are everything and I will never be back to Two Sprouts and doubt it will survive very long with this type of customer care.
