I have had nothing but amazing service from Mr Mel and his staff. The selection is great, the employees are extremely knowledgeable, and wow, the alterations are fast!I am all about helping the local Mom and Pop shops, and quite honestly, in my experience, they are all about helping you. I need a new suit for an upcoming meeting, so I will be headed to Tuxedos to Geaux very soon.

I am absolutely obsessed with this place! I needed a tux last minute for a party at Jennifer Coolidge's house, and they delivered and more. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a smile, and they get straight to business. I went during my lunch break and was in and out in about 30 minutes. My tux is perfect--they hemmed it in-house, and I walked out with a new tux and shoes for just $250. Renting a tux is around $200, but owning one forever is priceless (well, actually $200, excluding the shoes). Plus, I wear a men's size 49 in shoes, and they had them! The price, quality, and experience--10/10!

Fantastic place to find a tuxedo. They have plenty of associates to assist. We walked in just before 11am and luckily there was no wait. Bradley was our associate and he was awesome. He had my husband measured, matched with the tux, Mardi Gras vest, and shoes and checked out by 11:30. We did not feel rushed at all, but he was super efficient and friendly. The alterations will be done in two weeks. Additionally, the prices are extremely reasonable. My son and my dad also have gotten their tux's here and they had great experiences too. Highly recommend!!

Blake was outstanding and got everything done in a timely manner. Had a short turn for tuxedo and accoutrements and had them next day. Excellent service as usual with a Smile. Wasting time and money going anywhere else.

Service was amazing! We bought our tuxedos from, William Crockett, VP of merchandising, and he was not only knowledgeable and delightful, but full of wonderful suggestions and ideas. The suits are perfect. And the best part is that I have a 13 year-old son who shot up in size and height in just the last 2 1/2 months from his sister's wedding, and William was quick to get me in to let the hem out and repress the whole suit in time for our next family wedding. Not just same-day service, all done within under an hour. Can't recommend William and the whole Tuxedos to Geaux operation enough. Great price, great service,, great staff!

My baby sister was getting married this past spring and I waited almost too late to get a suit. I was in a tough spot. It was two weeks and a half weeks before the wedding. On top of being wedding season in Mew Orleans, it was also prom season. It was a very busy time. I underestimated the availability of suits and how long they would take to come in. Other places couldn't help me. It was understandable. I didn't know about the wait times or understand the seasons of this industry. I was up against it. As luck would have it, Tuxedos To Geaux was also doing the entire Grooms party's suits. They were happy to help me. I told them when I needed the suit and they assured me I was in good hands. The confidence they had in putting together a special order assemble that matched the brides party and complimented the grooms suits was reassuring. They made me feel good about my appearance and how I looked in the suit. I appreciated that. I don't often dress this fine. I'm a working man. The soft touch made the process comfortable for me. The price of the suit was cost effective. I expected it to be way more expensive given the quality, the season, and the order being a customized one. It came in almost a week early. They made any necessary alterations for free. I had such a good experience that I get suits just for me now. I also got my nephew a suit from here, he flew in from Seattle and they got him a suit the day before! I was heavily complimented for this suit. Terrific experience. If you're looking for a great shopping experience that is stress free and delivers on a quality suit. This is the place I recommend!

Lydia Williams was the bomb!! We were visiting from IL & had only 1 day to get our father of the groom suit for rehearsal dinner & wedding. She helped make this process easy peasy, fast, simple, & fun. She laughed with us & was so helpful making final decisions on size, color, shirts, & ties! Please, Mel, give this girl a raise. She deserves it!!

@ TuxcedosToGeaux Will C. Is AMAZING!!!!!!!! His fashion & design expertise, knowledge, customer service, and personality are truly "Second to None." He has dressed my family, friends, and my students for years, because of him my Courts have outshined their peers year after year! His ability to meet my needs as a customer has kept me coming back to him for years and will continue being me back for years to come! Thank you Will for being the beacon of professionalism and service and someone that I have been able to count on for years! Can't wait until my next event to see you again buddy and I'll continue telling all that I know how wonderful you are!!!

Overall nice spot to get a tux! One particular employee is the reason i will never shop there or recommend this place. There is a taller white flamboyant male employee that is the absolute worst. He should probably take the Mardi Gras season off if he doesn't like dealing with with a rush of customers. Definitely should take off the day before and day of Zulu ball since black customers clearly annoy him. Constantly being vocal about wanting customers to leave the store. Vocal about being annoyed specifically with guests asking about Zulu ball info! Went from being helpful to multiple white customers to very rude to multiple black customers. Never offered to show me what was "dress code" to the ball but would obnoxiously and rudely yell from across the store "if your going to Zulu you cant wear that". Other employees were more helpful but still wrong. I ended up buying a tux only because it was last minute but because of this rude employee I wont be back unless he is gone!! I did get into the ball with the tux he repeatedly told me I couldn't. Happy I didn't listen! There were a few ladies who had completely diff customer service specifically a short white lady and a taller black woman who actually took time to show me a few suggestions. I got Major compliments on the tux! 5 stars on tux selection but id give negative stars if I could to that employee. I understand the store was told a dress code by the Zulu club and they were just looking out but I'm sure they didn't want him to relay the message so rudely!!
