Was told by a guest at the hotel to go to this restaurant for some good Italian food. I was looking for some Lasagna lol. Oops this place did not have it. Wait don't all Italian Restaurants have Lasagna? I was embarrassed when this super nice waiter "Johnathan," came to get my order. I confessed to him, I was looking for Lasagna. He was cool and suggested Gemelli, a red pasta with meat. I reluctantly said yes, but I was in for a treat. It was as best I can describe, Chile Mac with Andante pasta. It actually hit the spot. I realized I had not had this in years, (tear). For dessert. I had the Tiramisu which came in a coffee cup. Awesome and I walked back to the hotel very satisfied. Johnathan and James were the best fussing over me. NICEAmbiance. Sophisticated sleek low light. Very romantic with plenty of space.

Love the steak. It was cooked to medium rare. It was seasoned well. The potatoes had a little kick to them. The cheese grits were CHEESY! The service was absolutely amazing. It was fast and the bartender was so fun to talk to! Perfect for brunch and date night due to its romantic ambiance. The music was not loud to where I had to scream in a conversation. I would definitely return!

After meeting friends for drinks at the Barnett lobby bar, we decided to try Trattoria Barnett for dinner. First time in since June when it was Josephine Estelle. Honestly, it felt exactly the same. Gorgeous space. Service was great. Food was delicious. All four of us raved about our selections. Ink squid pasta was on point. House Ceasar salad was excellent. Same with the Burrata. Had a very good bottle of wine. Reasonable menu pricing, but the cocktail prices are higher than what I'm accustomed to in this city. A single Tanguay & tonic shouldn't be $20. Other than that, this is a solid option for dinner in the CBD.

I traveled to NOLA twice in the last two months, and ate here both times. The cacio e pepe was so good that i had to come back for it. Claudia was our EXCELLENT server both times, and David, the manager, was also very kind to us on our first visit. He'd told us they were changing the menu before we were to come back the next time, but when we got there, it was the same. I wasn't mad because i'd been dreaming of that cacio e pepe. Drinks were good and we got affogato for dessert both times. The adjoining hotel seems very hip, there were music & art events happening both times we were there, which the hostess encouraged us to check out. The restaurant itself is a little noisy but the decor is nice.

We called at the last minute on a Saturday night, looking for dinner for eight. Surprisingly, they could accommodate us. We showed up early and while we waited in the empty lobby while the hostess readied our table in the empty restaurant, I asked the bartender what's up. He said the restaurant had been recently purchased and business had dropped off. We soon figured out why.The quality of the food was OK, but the portions were miniscule. Also, no no salad, no bread. no anything. When the bill came there was a 40 PERCENT gratuity. Yes, you read that right. The junior manager in charge said there was nothing he could do about it. It was levied to pay the kitchen staff. We left and we won't be back.

This place was a scam. Smallest portion sizes and so salty not worth your time or money. Also our server never came to our table took us an hour to get our checks and leave. Also had to give a 20% tip but for me personally i would've given 0
