The only place dead on Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras because the bar tender is extremely rude. Very bad experience.
This is the creepy bar tender. Rude! It's no wonder it was the only bar on Bourbon Street completely empty during Mardi Gras.

This was definitely a fun little place.Drinks were easy to get and not overly pricey. The entertainment was a lot of fun, you can request songs and they usually can do them. We probably stayed for about 45 mins the first time, then went a few other places and came back for another visit.

I've always wanted to check out a dueling piano bar, so it was a treat finding this during my group's pub/bar crawl. It's a nicely set up sectioned bar. One section is just a bar. Another is where the dueling piano players are. And last is sorta like a kickback/hangout place in the rear end. So it's cool back do a choice where to lounge. Put in an order of a hurricane and watched the duel. They are quite entertaining! And I really like how that room was able to filter outside noises so you can focus solely on their music! Stayed for a few performances and enjoyed every minute of it. If it's a chill place you seek amidst all the noise of Bourbon Street, this is a pretty good spot.

We spent an hour or two here and had a blast! The place is small and divey looking (like a lot of place on Bourbon Street), but the joint was jumping with a couple of very talented pianists. A plus is that they only have a one drink minimum, so you don't have to go broke (and get wasted) just to enjoy the music. One of the best places we hung out in.....

The bartender is not very nice and they have a minimum of 1 drink to use the restroom even though we are paying for song at the dueling piano bar: she was a legit AHole!

I love piano bars and Ticklers did not disappoint. Both musicians performed amazing, one was even visually impaired, which made the performance all the more spectacular. Great chill place with fair prices on drinks. I was glad we stopped here.

Was in town for a couple of days, stumbled on this place the first night, enjoyed the performers/crowd so much, went back the 2nd night. The moment we walked in, we were told "1 drink minimum." We had no problem with that, I preceded to go to the restroom before ordering. Then a short guy with the hat, one of the staff, stated I had to buy my drink first before going to the bathroom. I'm sorry but as a female I'm not leaving my drink unsupervised not to mention I'm not bringing it in the bathroom, that's just disgusting! We left! Never going back... customer service in an empty bar should have been first and foremost.

Came here with a bunch of Eagles fans after the game and one of ours sung with the band: it was a wonderful experience and such a great atmosphere. I think having a drummer makes it a 10/10 dueling piano night. The drinks were good and not too expensive, the small vibe fit, and everyone was friendly

Chick at the bar more interested in chatting with barmate rather than serving a thirsty customer. Rude with obvious snarky comments about my friend and I. We tipped her anyway because she clearly needs to make living even though she is not happy to do the job she is tasked with. Band was nice but chose to take our money elsewhere. Too bad.

I had been to a similar place with a friend in Pittsburgh the previous weekend and wanted to show the friend, I was with , so I started to video the piano players. I walked into the place and was immediately approached by a middle aged long haired gentleman, acting like Barney Fife, telling me I can't record. I immediately stopped recording and was trying to explain why I was recording and that I could delete the video. He interrupted and said you need to leave. I politely said why, his response was, as he was pointing to a piece of paper on the door window, "can't you read" , which I assume said no recording. I understand the policy but why be so rude and obnoxious? I'm sure most people who are just walking in from the street can and will miss the sign, like I did...gladly left, not worth all of his nonsense and lack of customer services tact.

I took my daughter to Nola for her 21st birthday. We had the best time at this place and went back the next night. The bartenders were very attentive and friendly and made sure we felt comfortable there. They even asked a gentleman to leave because he was being a little annoying and we didn't know him. It was easy to Venmo songs requests and they were played almost immediately after request. This was our favorite part of our 3 day trip!
