Thinkerella

We attended a birthday party for a six year old this past Sunday and the invitation indicated there would be a Thinkerella activity at 1pm. The host said that she confirmed with them the week before, then subsequently saw on Facebook that Thinkerella was requesting someone to cover the party for them. They never showed up for the party and did not tell the host beforehand that they couldn't do it! We later saw on Facebook that Thinkerella was at Jazz Fest that day instead of the birthday party (see pictures posted with this review). It was shocking to me that a business that is supposed to provide entertainment for a party would accept a job and then simply not show up - you can imagine the disappointment of the guests and host! We had the same experience with Thinkerella for an Easter egg hunt that we purchased tickets for - we showed up along with a number of families for the event and were told about an hour after we arrived that it was canceled (we were given a legitimate reason at the time but now I wonder about that...). Based on this experience, I would not recommend booking them for an event.

My daughter had this as an after school program and she loved it! She asked to have a Thinkerella Birthday Party. The event was easy to book and not hard to find in Harahan. I am very glad we did because the kids all had a blast. Thanks for everything, we will be back!
