Really enjoy the shack tonight service was very sweet and did a great job! Seafood plater was a good price feeds my steak was cooked just right ! We also had the shack fries and veggies basket they both was very good

Went for lunch everything was seasoned perfectly. The charbroiled oysters were great. The crawfish was cooked perfectly the potatoes were a bit spicy for me but was still delicious. The sausage was a no for me and everyone in my group agreed. My mom got the shack jr. and it was amazing. The onion rings were the best with honey mustard. My sister had the boiled shrimp and she said they were delicious. Snow crab was a bit overcooked but were seasoned well. The price was right. Will definitely be back soon.

Food was ok, not great. Service was mediocre. Did try to call before we went, they never answered the phone. Went in to order out. Was told to wait in my car. Waited nearly 30 minutes. Then I just drove up to the window. Order had been waiting. Food was not even hot anymore. Unfortunately, we didn't know that until after we had driven off. Not in a hurry to go back.

While traveling the USA during Covid-19 times, we stopped to stay in Houma Louisiana for a few days. This restaurant was recommended to us by a local and I am so glad we went!!! Not sure why this place does not have more yelp reviews - it is so cute, the food is amazing and very affordable!!! The restaurant was packed, however, it was spaced out very nicely due to covid. Everyone was wearing masks and being respectful - we felt very safe the entire time. We got the big platter for two which included a side and all fried foods you could imagine - crab, shrimp, oysters, fries. It was very very good !!! Not too heavy for it being all fried. We loved it!! Would definitely recommend!!!

Food taste like it's fried in old oil. No seasoning other than burnt flour! Our server wasn't bad but the other young snotty servers were incredibly rude! Plenty of other places pass on this one when you have the chance!!

Fifty stars to Thursday's all you can eat boiled shrimp.Spices in boil are excellent. The corn comes out delicious and the shrimp is simply amazing.Staff is fantastic!Had it not been for Facebook marketing this place, I would have missed the best thing in this townGreat job guys! Well done.

Always have a great meal at the shack. If you are looking for seafood or home style cooking in the Houma area this is the place to go. Reasonable prices and portions. The staff is on point and always friendly. Love the local art work displayed throughout.
