This place is hit or miss. We gave it a try and bought a bunch of groceries. I guess if you don't mind the concept of "expired" food, you might be OK. HOWEVER, a lot of the food is just plain STALE. I wasn't paying enough attention I guess, because when we got home, the block of cheese we bought was literally half molded. I spent $130 here. Some of it was just fine, but it made us way too uneasy. We were just too scared that The food was going to make us sickThe bag of popcorn I bought was stale. New line block of cheese that was half MOLDY.A bag of Parmesan cheese that wasn't expired but literally tasted like sawdust. Ruined our food. The good:Bag of frozen shrimp was pretty good.Box of frozen samosas was deliciousJars of Paul Newman's spaghetti sauce was good. And, the apples were pretty good! They were by joyfully grown, which I'm pretty sure is an organic product. So I bought them.Like I said. Hit or miss. Just be very, very mindful.

You can find some good deals here on various items in various states of condition and various states of disorganization. It is definitely always an adventure here as you just never know exactly what you might find. They have some things like dinged and bent food cans along with some products that look fine which may or may not be approaching their expiration date or maybe past it. Overall this is certainly a worthwhile place to investigate to just see what all they have on offer.

Oh heck yes! Where does food go if the boxes or cans are slightly damaged? What about if they're past the "best by" date? The salvage store! My neighbor shopped here for a party he was throwing and brought home so much stuff including heavily discounted beer (like .30/can!) I had a party coming up that I wanted to provide all the food and drink for so I shopped here! Name brands, great finds like Synergy Kombucha, cereal, baking supplies and more! I was able to get all the ingredients I needed to make some party fare for $25! Great for low income, large families, college students or anyone on a shoestring budget! Just be sure to check expiration dates. Most items are fine if used immediately.

This store is a must if you're on any kind of budget. You'll find highly discounted name brand and off-brand items from cereal to wine. The store is kind of just thrown together, so you might have to do a little hunting to find something specific, but if you walk through, you're sure to find something you need. One of the best deals they have is ice cream- most boxes of ice cream bars are only about $2.00.

I love this place. Why? Because I am on a tight budget and I am super cheap. I'm not afraid to admit it. I have 8 mouths to feed (and that includes my 2 furbabies). Yes, some of the items are damaged and outdated. But they gaurantee their items and allow you to return any item you find less than satisfactory. I have only recently started coming here on a more regular basis. The wine selection is super cheap! Like 3$ a bottle!Cheese and sandwich meats are what I usually look for. Produce prices can't be beat, although you don't always find the produce you're looking for. My kids like coming here bc there is a section where you can make $3 or$5 grab bags full of snacks from bins filled with junk food (cookies, candy, chips, etc.) They even have a bin filled with gum that is 10 for $1. My youngest can't get enough of that. They also sell cat and dog food. Not sure of the brands but they look fancy. For the most part, most of everything I have bought is fine. Some stale things every now and then...I just return it.Staff is friendly and professional. Not everything is cheap. You will find some things either same price as regular stores and maybe even more (if a store like Winn Dixie does a bogo sale). They don't carry everything either. Its just whatever they get a deal on.Some of you may read this and be "Oh, its not for me!" But some of you may need the help and any easier way to keep within a budget. This is the way to go. Just this weekend they had a lot sale and I paid $41 for a whole basket full of food. Mostly snacks for when my son has friends over, but he is a big boy with a huge appetite and friends with equal appetites. So yeah...Im going to shop here from time to time.

This the place i do most of my shopping. Screw what people say about expiration dates. Youll be surprised at the super cheap prices youll pay hear for the same exact overpriced studf youll find at other groceries. I love coming here because of all the weird, hard to find & unique items youll end up find here. Theres basically new stuff everyday you come. For you health nuts, theres tons of fresh organic items, and you can get a 6 pack of craft beer for 3.99! Theres also a whole long wall of wine! This place is huge. Once you shop here you wont want to waste your money anywheres else. The staff & cashiers are very helpful and always greet you with a nice conversation. Come check this place out, i promise youll live.

My wife loves this store. Me...not so much. I love the concept though, but just don't like certain things...and no, it's not about the "expiration" dates. Just like the dollar generals/trees/etc. (even amazon), not everything is the lowest price out there. I frequently hear my wife say to me, wow, that's expensive, no, that's not a bargain while browsing through the store. So, definitely, buy with a watchful eye for pricing (in addition to the expiration dates). Personally, I don't mind the expired stuff, just depends on what the product is. If it's stuff like dairy, I'd be wary about it being expired. That's just my 2 cents. As far as the store goes, staff are friendly and helpful enough. Environment...even if it's a discount store, it doesn't have to look like a run down store inside. Products everywhere, narrow paths, and products looking "dirty" and sticky. While shelving it, maybe wipe it with a damp cloth to make it semi-clean? Well, opinions aside, it's a nice place to look for a bargain. Give them a try and who knows, you may end up being a repeat customer!

Good place to get bargains on some grocery items but not everything. Can goods and bottle items are alright, but you have to watch items like cereal, crackers and cookies that are sometimes way pass expired. But all In all still a good place to shop.
