The pizza here was fine! Nothing crazy good or bad, just a solid amount of pizza for a reasonable price. Cheese, crust, and sauce were all good, though it could have been more seasoned. Blink and you might miss the sign out front which is really faded. The place is a little understaffed but a decent and safe choice for local pizza.

The best pizza place around. Good pizza, salads, sandwiches...I like everything I've had. The staff is very friendly as well. Highly recommend!

Typical order for take out. Pretty quick with food and always fresh. Pizzas are really good! The chocolate chip dessert pizza is yummy! The few times we have eaten inside, employees are nice. Usually pretty quiet!

A quick stop at this small pizzeria was worthwhile and very reasonably priced. Two drinks, a water, large salad, and medium pizza fed two adults and a toddler generously. A small pizza or medium salad would have been better for us, but the whole meal only cost a little more than fast casual would have and would have been about the same as fast casual if we'd ordered a smaller (more appropriately sized) pizza or salad. Drinks are canned Coke products, Dr. P, or bottled water.The Chef Salad was generously topped with meats, cheeses, and a couple slices of cheese bread/pizza, which were excellent. All of the greens were fresh; not a single wilted leaf was in the salad. The only down side was the dressing. I like that it's house made, but the olive oil tasted salty--like rancid oil (or Bertolli's)--and there wasn't any vinegar in it. We had a Meat Lovers pizza We loved the crust--Old World-style, thin crust with just the right balance of soft and crispy--and the ham was sliced thin enough to sear near the edges of the pie, which was also a nice touch. On the down side, the marinara was a little on the sweet side--like canned tomatoes--and the sausage had too much anise/fennel/caraway seed (although the texture was nice).Despite only giving THREE STARS for my first visit, the soul of a good pizzeria is good dough and fresh, house-made ingredients, which The Pizza Shoppe has, so i'll be back to try other menu items. While I probably won't get the Meat Lover again, we anticipate returning for takeout to try some of the breads or the Spinach Artichoke pizza. If we get the Chef Salad again, it will be to take home for a splash of red wine vinaigrette or a spot of homemade ranch dressing.

I love this pizza place. I've never actually eaten inside of the restaurant, but I always order to go from them . I don't know how to describe this pizza crust. It's not too thick, but not too thin. It's to the point that I can almost eat a large pizza by myself. It's that good. Every single time I've ordered the pizza is fresh, ready on time and the guys working there are super super nice. I also love how their sausage is not like regular sausage pizza . I also love that they have an app that I can place my order on. Makes it so convenient. I love it and I really need to start going inside to eat. Even my 3 year old is obsessed with this pizza!

Nice little pizza place in the Metairie. Located in a strip mall on the north side of West Esplanade. The crust is perfect, not too thick, not too thin. The interior of the restaurant is clean. Friendly employees. Plenty of parking in front. Evidently, they do participate in fundraisers for the churches and schools in the area, which is nice.

Every time I've been here the food is always delicious. The red sauce is superb and the pizza and pasta dishes are always excellent. I've been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal.

So, I had a pizza here about a year ago. It was very, very good. The best I've had in Louisiana. A few days ago I stopped by and had an Italian Club. I've lived in Louisiana for 35 years now. I miss the wonderful pizza and subs I grew up with in Columbus, OH. This Sub was in my Top 5 sandwiches Ever in LA. The homemade bread is awesome. Not too bready. Nice Crunch. I think they use the same bread on several of the Subs. The Ham was hand carved. Just a very awesome sandwich. Any time I'm in NO I'll have to decide between this place and my favorite Roast Beef PoBoy - Short Stop.

It's good if you're starving and there's nothing else around. Otherwise, No Thanks. Frozen pizza is a better choice.
