First time here! Dark and mysterious, classic rock and roll (Fleetwood MAC : The Chain - need I say more?) - good selection of spirits without being over the top, conspiratorial couples, friendly bartender, 3 screens with a variety of selections, pool table, dart boards, very fair prices - all the pieces are here, people!

Great bar! Very relaxed atmosphere. Not too big or small. Great beer selection. They even have free shots when a near by train passes. So fun. Pool table, darts, and giant Janga. Love the 90's and oldies music on the juke box. That and the friendly owners and bartenders give this place a great vibe. Perfect place to hit up on the weekends or meet up with friends after work. I found my new favorite hang out.

I'm in the process of moving to Slidell and The Pelican Pub is the 1st place I've tried. I LOVE IT! Lindsay was the bartender and made excellent drinks as well as making one feel welcome. They have a good selection of liquors; strangely, they had only off brand Amaretto (no Disaronno) and well as Irish Cream (no Bailey's) and no Captain Morgan Silver when I visited and that was a bit disappointing; the Grand Marnier is my favorite and apparently their only Cognac - others may be disappointed, but I was happy. The prices were very reasonable and pleasing. Other customers I met were friendly and interesting. Seems a very nice and laid back place - but it was on a Wednesday, too. Lindsay filled me in on the other activities available several nights of the week and I'm sure I'll be back as I get closer to being fully relocated. Lindsay is learning to layer Buttery Nipples - stop by and order one and see how she's doing with it!
