The OW Home

The OW Home (presented by the Occasional Wife), on Magazine Street, is one of my favorite consignment stores. They seem to have about anything, all in wonderful condition, and reasonably priced for real furniture. The staff are friendly, and very helpful when you are exploring the shop, searching for just the right piece. Five Stars.

This is such a great shop. It's in a perfect area and has something for everyone here. They had old furs to fine art and china here. It's a quaint shop with always changing items for sale.

This was a great shop for unique furniture and decor finds. Reminded me a lot of what I see in the Bay Area and LA. Ran across this shop while strolling along Magazine Street. All styles and periods were present and on display. The shop appeared to be a warehouse that was just full of so many cool things. I would frequent this shop if I lived in New Orleans !

If you don't feel like digging at the Occasional Wife warehouse store, this might be the spot for you. They have selected furniture in great shape for purchase in the large space on Magazine St. They've recently added a LOT of smalls so there's plenty to look at as well as beaucoup art, if your walls are bare.ALSO! At the moment there's a lot of clothes, jewelry and purses in the backroom, many new with tags. Some items are high end and others all have tags from when Steinmart went out of business. I was looking for costume pieces and found 2 great items for $10.Staff is helpful and friendly but also will allow you to browse. I'm not sure if haggling works here like it does at the warehouse store but it can't hurt to try.

A must stop on all trips to Nola! Always have a treasure to find. Great items & always displayed beautifully!

The shop is in a great location and it's very eye-catching from the street, but the prices are INSANELY expensive. This goes for their estate sales as well.

Multiple stores throughout New Orleans area. French Quarter and Magazine are my favorites. Always great finds and the prices are reasonable to begin with but there are usually "specials" and discounts for regular buyers or large purchases. Highly recommend the super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very happy to assist! A must visit in NOLA!
