DELIVERY ORDER: So delivery apps have become my best friend in this semi quarantined state we r currently in. I was craving pizza and chose this place because it was fairly close and delivery fee wasnt excessive. I ordered their signature pie and hot wings. Well..the hot wings were pretty flavorful and they were great reheated the next day. The pizza on the other hand...disappointing. It didnt arrive hot and seemed to be undercooked. I heated up 2 slices in the oven after taking a bite but that didnt help. I didnt enjoy it at all..not sure if it was bc it was undercooked or less than fresh ingredients..either way I didnt eat the rest. Anyone that knows me knows Im pretty greedy and love to eat so to not even finish it says a lot.

I wish i could give zero stars. This establishment is absolutely disgusting and trifling! I was just with my grandson Jhonny when we came and sat down by the kitchen. I looked in the kitchen and I saw a humongous rat scurry across the kitchen floor. The kitchen staff don't keep the kitchen clean and do not use gloves or hair nets. However, my prozac makes me see things sometimes so I didn't think much of it. I finally got my food and it was too spicy. The tomato sauce tasted like battery acid. Also, the service was extremely disappointing. I went to the bathroom and it was completely disgusting with toilet paper and water on the floor. I could've slipped and feel since I am handicapped and walk with a cane. I should call the ADA and the better business bureau. Y'all folks need to get it together I will never visit this establishment again.

Ordered online through their website, received a confirmation email at 8pm. After 1 hour waiting, decided to call to check on the status of my delivery. Apparently they had never received my order. However, after a couple of minutes on hold, they said the store has 2 different systems and the driver never got notified. At the end, manager said I had two options either get reimbursed and it would take 3-5 business days MAYBE, but if I had any issues in a week I could call them and TRY to get reimbursed again, or wait another hour or so to NOW get my pizza delivered. Manager calls me back 5min after saying they can get a driver and pizza would be delivered in 30min. Now its 10pm and we call them to see whats going on and the answer is "We have your pizza ready but we cant find a driver". Wondering if they will knock on my door and wake me up saying hey your pizza is ready. What a nightmare. Never ordering pizza from this place again.

...I ordered take out through this app, I went to pick up the food when the app indicated... it said it would be ready at 8:04pm. I waited and then went in to pick it up at 8:07pm. I think my food was ready and waiting and so... it was all cold. The chicken wings were cold. The mozzarella sticks were firm and not at all melty... the pizza was delicious but cold. It was a sad cold meal. The app still has not announced that the meal is ready for pick up!

The original Italian pie so this is my second experience here and it was only happenstance because where we were going with close and we were hungry. I ordered half a calzone and a half salad lunch special and customize it to my liking. When I walked in there was hand sanitizer at the door and the tables for social distance. No one wore masks to my uncomfortability so I took my food to go. The space scene clean and the food was very good for My second visit. I can relate to the bad reviews my first visit was awful the food was disgusting that was before Covid. I encourage you to visit it's worth it to come back.

Suggest that you do not order for delivery from the Italian Pie website for the Harahan location. While the staff is friendly, the last 3 times I ordered online for delivery, the order never got picked up. I had to call the Harahan location well after an hour checking on my order. Each time, it was setting there awaiting the delivery service. Hard to tell if the food was as good as I remembered, for due to the delivery delay, the food arrived cold.So with their delivery, it's 3 strikes & you're out. I'll never order delivery from them again.

Restaurant uses DoorDash to deliver and the steal their tips. Only $1 of your tip gets passed to the driver, they keep the rest.
