It's cold inside! If you like Hayride Scandal but hate when it's crowded, you'll love Lost Cove! It's a cocktail bar with maybe more of a variety in normal to high end liquor. They have food which is blessing, closed in outdoor patio, and they have few TVs for sport or whatever. Only complaint they had one bartender on a Saturday, but i definitely be back.

Got the Texas burger and it was the best burger that I've had in a long time. Cooked perfectly and the jalapeños were fresh sautéed. Highly recommend this place

The Lost Cove is the brain child of a longtime local bar owner whose other establishments have shut their doors. Don't let the fact that it's located in the old FQ Daquiris location fool you - the inside was reimagined to give the feeling of sitting inside an old oak barrel. A bar stocked with liquors a plenty greets you, as well as very knowledgeable staff with recommendations and talents with the drinks. Before going to one of your old favorites, talk to the bartender and see what he or she recommends. Not in the mood for the hard stuff? They have a great selection of local beers and some tasty wines. There are also hot beverages and coffee drinks for those partaking in dry-January or for those who have chosen not to drink for whatever reason. Again, the bartenders can provide you with the best alcoholic or non-alcoholic choices.Grab a seat on the newly opened patio or relax on the couches for a nice group gathering. I don't find the other seating that comfortable if there for a long time, but hopefully once things open up and they have a more steady income flow, they can get some more appropriate wooden set ups to go with the feel of the bar. The food, wow, we have been impressed. They have a delicious burger, as well as many other good dishes. The menu has been hacked a little bit during the pandemic, but I believe most of the fan favorites are there. Even if you don't have time to sit and have a drink, grab some take-out or order ahead, and you will have a tasty meal to enjoy.I look forward to going back, especially when the pandemic is over and we can enjoy being out with all our friends again.

I love this spot and glad it's open in 2023! Very large selection of liquor. Small bites and sandwiches. Great cocktails. Tables, booths, couches. Chill. It's not visible when driving by on Essen but just turn by the Oil change place.

Love Lost Cove! The exterior doesn't reflect what's inside. When you walk in head to the bar order up what ya want and then seat yourself. You can't go wrong with the Boutine Fries and I haven't had a cocktail from LC that I didn't like.

*YAY MY 100TH REVIEW*LOVE this place!! I stumbled on this place on a Friday, just in time for happy hour. I was quickly greeted by the bartender and given the menus. They have a very small food menu. It's one page with small plates, big plates, and side dishes. They have an extensive cocktails menu with all kinds of wines and whiskeys, really anything your heart could desire. For drinks, I only ordered off the hh menu so I got the $7 Moscow mule, old fashioned, and French 75. They were all such good classic drinks. They were also pretty strong so I don't think I could do more than two at time. Additionally, I tried several hh food items! My boyfriend was obsessed with the felony burger that the second time we went two days later, he got it again. So that tells you how good that was. The boutine fries were so flavorful. It was a little salty from the au jus, but the boudin balls were spicy and the cheese curds were soft and chewy. It all made for a fabulous dish. The felony fries were good also! Oh so cheesy. The Cuban sliders were good but they didn't stand out like the other dishes. All in all, the food, drinks, and service is great! The ambiance of this place is cool and non pretentious. I can't wait to come back and try more things. I've been having my eyes on that chicken and waffles plate...BTW happy hours are from 4-7 daily and Louis is a great bartender.

My last review for the Lost Cove was pre-pandemic. I happened to be in the area and wanted to check them out again. They did not disappoint. On a Monday night I needed a chill place where I could have great conversation, not be overwhelmed by MNF or loud music. They had a great mix of classic rock and pop playing with MNF on the TV but muted. Atmosphere was very chill which was amazing. The bartender, Jeff was super helpful and friendly. This is definitely an awesome hidden gem to hang out and have a great cocktail or 2.

This is a great bar. They aren't busy but they were steady, they have a huge selection of spirits (that is BOOZE). I got an Old Fashioned and it was a great value for the money. It was $10 but it was perfect with a luxardo cherry. So yum! It's was cute. No seating at the bar but tables abs booths abs great bartenders!

Lost Cove is the place to go. Chill, warm atmosphere, good bar food and Great drinks! It never lets us down. Inside and outside seating, great for couples or groups.
