The Little Village - Airline

Another update - everything I said before is still true. But don't order the lasagne - the Italian sausage in it is good, but it may be cold in the middle and the house red sauce is thin, watery, and bland. Everything else is great. Especially the bread (with the olive tapenade).

We visited the restaurant for a friend's birthday party. The bread was delicious as always. We were seated at a table that was next to crying children so we asked to be moved and the staff was very accommodating and seated us elsewhere. This is where the good ended.The salads were tasteless, the food was cold, and the server and manager insisted to us that we were indeed wrong and that our food was hot. To top it off, they didn't have the wine we chose and we had to substitute our selection. I wanted to host a pleasant dinner party at Little Village as I have so many times in the past but I'm afraid this experience was subpar at best.

We went for dinner and it was beyond our expectations. We started with the garlic bread and it's so good! The garlic is roasted perfectly and I really like it.My husband ordered the special of the day, steak with mashed potatoes, he didn't leave a trace. I ordered the salmon salad with mandarins and caramelized pecans, chef's kiss.Our waiter was attentive and nice. We'll be back soon !

First of all the food is so wonderful and delicious. You have to try the bread with garlic it can be a meal in itself alone! The service is amazing our waitress was so kind and helpful with the selection on our food . I order a sensation grilled chicken salad and I had to take it home it was so big. The place is amazing and good for fine dining or with the family dinner. I will be going back for sure.

Went there for New Years Eve and was simply amazing. Server was always present and food was amazing. I could just eat the village bread as a meal. The filet Palermo was the best steak I ever had. Topped off with the tiramisu.

Celebrated birthday dinner there. Waitress was barely available. Lasagna came out cold. Sent it back for re fire came out cold again. But cut down the middle. Guessing for the microwave. The manager came out to argue that it was hot and make many excuses. The chicken parm was cold as well. I would not suggest this for any occasion. It's a shame because they used to be good.

Always good drinks and good food. Service depends on time of day. I haven't been to this location as often as I used to when I lived nearby

Far exceeds the one downtown. Friendly always upon entry and smells wonderful. Great staff at bar and their food is always wonderful. Consistently worth the money since open

Bread was some of the best I've ever had! Waitress was very friendly and polite. Mixed drinks were done well. Clams and linguine was very disappointing. Pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, but clams were rancid. Sauce was offensively soupy and under seasoned. It was so soupy that when the waitress took it from the table (barely touched btw) it sloshed all over the floor and they had to clean it up. Wine that was paired with the food arrived well after the food had been taken away. Servers were bringing dishes and drinks to the wrong tables all around us. Good but not great atmosphere. Next time I'd consider coming in solely for drinks and bread at the bar but wouldn't order a main course.

Other than the bread (which is pricey in my opinion,) however it was excellent. The salad was just a mixed green salad with nothing else in it. Entrees where absolutely terrible. The Bruceluna was so dried out it was not edible. the side of pasta was very small and swimming in water with red gravy that looked like tomato sauce. my wife got the Fish Almadine and was also terrible, she left it on the plate. The other people with us who had been here before were astonished at how bad the food was. As for the ambiance we were stuck in a room with two tables that appeared to be a back hallway with a make shift wall at the end of the table that shook the whole time we were there. I don't understand how people frequent this place.
