The Jaxson

Attended an event here and was blown away about how gorgeous a venue it is. I adored the ambiance it was giving; swanky and chic. Great location with a lovely view.The service was excellent. The servers, as well as the bartenders, were extremely accommodating and pleasant. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

So Great We Did It TwiceSo, 5 short years ago I married my beautiful wife at The Jaxson. They did such a fantastic job with the wedding that 2 weeks ago we came back to New Orleans from Atlanta, and renewed our vows in the same spot! They didn't miss a beat providing an absolutely amazing experience for us and all of our guests for a second time! Every aspect of the event was stunning and the service from their team was perfect! They have mastered their craft and we're convinced that they're not only the best in New Orleans but maybe in the whole country! Keep up the great work y'all, there's already chatter about us coming back to see y'all in another 5! Brian T

This venue is top notch for any kind of event. I was part of a wedding party and they went above and beyond for all of us. The bartenders were excellent! The man who runs the events and keeps everything going smoothly was absolutely fantastic. He was professional and very willing to ensure the bride and groom were treated like royalty.

We had our company summer party at The Jaxson. The venue was amazing and my team loved the food and the atmosphere! The entire was so helping from start to finish! Would recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a company event in New Orleans!

Absolutely horrible customer service. They refused to return our money during a global pandemic. Stating it was not an "Act of God". Really?!? Than exactly what is it, needless to say we had to hire a lawyer. Pay close attention to these companies, that try to keep your money during a global pandemic.

My husband and I were married at the Jaxson on 09.23.2017. I waited a month from our wedding to write a review, two weeks from The Jaxson's and my's last email. While our wedding was beautiful, the time and effort were not put in accordingly as the weddings before. The day before the wedding, as per our contract, I was told to be on time for the rehearsal, or else I would be charged a late fee. THEY DID NOT SHOW UP FOR OUR REHEARSAL. THIS IS THEIR JOB. They were not there to take in my items, nor direct the rehearsal, as, they were getting paid to do. Months before, I was given a timeline form to fill out for the days events. They lost the first email, and I had to email another. In the questionnaire, I was asked if drinks were to be served before the ceremony., AND THEY WERE NOT! My processional music was wrong because the lighting tech guaranteed he woud cue my DJ who was coming out. THE MUSIC WAS WRONG! In our reception area, we had a picture memorial of our decreased grandparents. Not only were our parents' wedding day pictures inappropriately placed in the midst of the grandparents pictures, my bridal picture was in the very middle of all the pictures. Minutes before the start of the ceremony, I saw the arrangement, and requested for the pictures to be appropriately placed. The communication at first was fabulous, the food fabulous, our wedding butlers, Andrea and Earl were fabulous!!!! The background setting and vendors were fabulous! I would give them their "5" stars, as deserved. This is a wedding, and mistakes are bound and determined to happen, but the mistakes made were excessive. I.E. They missed the rehearsal. I have emailed with the Jaxson since, and they have failed to email back when asked for compensation. I think for what we paid for the Jaxson, we deserved more.

We walked thinking about taking a tour but we ended staying at the bar with Faye. Learn her name because aside from being great company, she makes the best Bloody Mary in town. I tried the cool cucumber drink that I plan on copying. But it's her hospitality that made it the place we wanted to come back to. So if u visit ask for Faye, you won't regret it.

Got married here in 2016 and had an exceptional experience! Great food, great views, great atmosphere. Have been back several times for other weddings and corporate events and have had nothing but exceptional experiences! Would recommend to all for a wedding or corporate event!

Incredible views and structure combined with cuisine that encapsulates the heart, soul & spirt of New Orleans. Epic location overlooking the mighty mouth of the Mississippi steps away from Jackson square. I can think of no better way to have experienced with all senses the flavorful spirit of New Orleans. Thank you for showing you know what it means.

We could not have imagined a better location for our son's wedding and reception than the Jaxson House. It was quintessential New Orleans, a perfect destination for so many of my family and guests. The venue, both elegant and accommodating, was the perfect size, and I have not heard one person say anything but fabulous remarks about the whole celebration, which couldn't have happened like it did without the Jaxson House staff being one of the key components to making the evening a memorable success.
