Got some chicken and sausage gumbo to go. Pretty oily. Good serving of sausage, but not a bite of chicken in the container.

Great place to grab dinner to go. Jambalaya is tasty. I love the white beans. Large portions!

I am SO disappointed . I ordered dinner for family from out of town at 12:50pm for a 6:09pm pickup. I tried calling three times and no one answered. I arrived early ( no biggie on waiting) at 5:45pm and they were out of pastalaya. The main part of our order. I don't get why no one reached out to me. Also we did not get our rolls. We ordered a quart of potato salad and got these tiny side cups. Absolutely ridiculous. 0/10 recommend and will not go back.

LOVE this place. I'm from the northern part of the US and am not accustomed to southern food just yet but I have to say I'm obsessed with the jambalaya from here. I've tried a few other places but wasn't ever blown away but here. This is it. The jambalaya is addicting. Perfectly seasoned and not too spicy or salty. I have never tried the other things on the menu bc the jambalaya is just the bomb lol. It's pretty quaint inside. Nothing spectacular about it but the jambalaya speaks for itself. Highly recommend.

Always consistent, never disappointed! They make the most delicious jambalaya ever! Every time I come home to visit, stopping here is always a must!!!

Good food. The potato salad is creamy and Pork jambalaya is the best. This is our go to jambalaya shop.

If you'd like a $40 bucket of rice for catering then you're in the right place. This place has knowingly reduced the amount of meats or protein included in a bucket of jambalaya. I'd recommend ordering from Winn-Dixie or another local spot. Jambalaya is easy to find in Baton Rouge.

Beans & Rice With Cut Sausage includes veg, green salad, & roll$9.95This is what I ordered. I got a square sandwich container with mushy rice and white beans and a separate container with 2/4 size pieces of sausage cut in half and no sides. Will NOT be ordering from there again!

My partner and I will order maybe once a week. The last three times I ordered the jambalaya bowl I specifically asked for potato salad, but they never put it in there. This time, they not only didn't put in the potato salad but they ignored my partner when they asked for more beans in place of the salad in the jambalaya dinner. We paid for double beans and the potato salad so tell me why we didn't get them in our order. This is getting frustrating and we're just going to go somewhere else for jambalaya if this doesn't improve the next time we order. Jambalaya is good, but when there's several things missing from our order, it completely cancels it out and now the meal is ruined and our expectations are once again not met.

Good comfort food! Always consistent, always good. Friendly people and great place to enjoy home cooking without having to cook. The gumbo is awesome also. Merri Young
