Disappointed!!!!! The jambalaya was ok. The potato salad and gumbo was unratable because they tasted HORRIBLE!!! I'm being nice with the 3. This is the worse gumbo and potato salad I've ever eaten from around the world. I can give you my recipe for both if your wanna buy them. The service was great and there was no sitting.

I like this place for fast food jambalaya! It's pretty good and always full of flavor. I always get the jambalaya, but wanted to try their pasatalya this time but they were out. Hope to try it next time I'm in!

Consistent. Good food and great service. We love the drive through which makes it easy to pick up our supper. The Fontenot family goes out of their way to please us.

Food was excellent. I tried the shoppe combo 1 with the pastalaya crawfish pies and a bowl of gumbo. I also ordered the crawfish boudin which ammmmmazzzzing! Service was excellent! Definitely a bang for you buck here. Recommended for out of towners for sure. Ambience was peaceful dining!

This is my second review I had to upgrade from the last one. I had a dinner special at lunch. It was Pastalya with navy beans and potato salad. It was delicious. The potato salad was no my favorite but everything else was perfect. Go by and check the place out worth the trip

The chicken and sausage jambalaya was okay, certainly had better and theirs could definitely use more seasoning like onions and green peppers. The gumbo wasn't great but just okay as well. I was a bit underwhelmed with the food because I had high expectations when you call yourself The Jambalaya Shoppe. It wasn't terribly bad but my palate is accustomed to using a variety of seasonings to spice up the food. I like tasting various flavor profiles. I don't think many restaurants make use of fresh or dried herbs. I do!

i go there on occasion to get gumbo for my dad for lunch. today i went and got him a gumbo, banana pudding and mud pudding and was charged 21.66. when i got home i called to question it and she said she must have double charged me, but if i would go all the way back to gonzales is the rain, she would give me a refund of who knows how much. so IF you go, watch out for how much they charge you because they WILL overcharge you.

Pretty good when they are on, but extremely inconsistent. Potato salad, jambalaya and pastalaya taste different every time we order. However the chicken is consistently dry and chewy, so much so that we pick it out and trash it. Wish they would serve a pork pastalaya, as the pork in the jambalaya is usually cooked pretty well.

The girl behind the counter did not know how to do basic math. She said they were out of the medium buckets I could get 2 smalls but the large was 10$ more when 2 smalls were 30$ more. Made no sense. Then the jambalaya came out it was Luke warm.
