The Jambalaya Shoppe

Very nice people! Julie wanted jambalaya right when she woke up! We waited till they were open and I headed over. It's clean and bright! Walk up to the counter and order, not a big menu they have daily specials and I'm going on a Wednesday to try the hamburger steak! I had a nice conversation with the lady taking orders and my order came out fast! I tried the bread pudding and it's really good!! We will be back for sure!!!

Hole in the wall. Small simple menu. Max seating 30. Drive-through available. Jambalaya for two would actually feed 3-4. It tasted great and a very fair price.Entry to the parking lot coming from I-12 is a little tricky.

This a bowl. If you want to sleep right afterwards eat this meal! Personally I like green peppers and onions mixed in and this didn't have it. Bummer for me but great for other people.Employees were nice and friendly.

Food was amazing flat out. Portions were to die for, I mean so much jambalaya and the gumbo was an amazing addition. I wish I would have got brown rice with it instead of white rice. I will definitely be going back here (maybe today)

This is quite possibly the worst Cajun Food I've ever had. Everything was awful. The pastalaya was disgusting, it tasted like an ash tray. The jambalaya was mush without any semblance of positive flavor. The Gumbo was the best part, but was still probably the worst gumbo I've had. At this point I'm just hoping I don't get sick on my drive home.

I came to this place Tuesday 08/10/21 around 3 PM for lunch. Well in the middle of eating, I noticed I was eating molded rolls. It made me gag. I loved this place but I don't think I should have to check my food for mold and other health complications.

Could eat here everyday. Every time I've had it, it always tastes fresh and delicious.

I ordered 50 bucks worth of jambalaya and gumbo, they gave me almost no meat in any of my dishes. Easily less than one link of sausage. Jambalaya was all rice, and the shorted me one potato salad. Absolutely dissatisfied for subpar food. I wouldn't recommend this particular location.

Go somewhere else and save your money, the jambalaya is cold, could use seasoning, red beans were good and potato salad is okay but not much there, and when they say there is a roll, I was looking for it but found some small thing that was suppose to the roll but one bite and it was gone.

Enjoy the food. Only gets a 3 star because it seems like a 50/50 shot of them having Jambalaya. Often out hours before closing. How does the Jambalaya Shoppe run out? Like Chick-Fil-A saying they have no chicken.
