Whenever we come back home, we stop at one of them. For the past year two locations we've been to have been mid. Today we ordered a jambalaya plate and the side of potato salad and whomever made it got confused with using sugar instead of salt. It was like potato salad dessert. Yuck! I ordered boudin and it was flavorless. OMG such a disappointment. I can't complain too much because we only spent $20. But being that we were hungry, I was especially disappointed. Sad that I have to say I won't be returning on future visits.

Used to be excellent. Sadly, the so-called "jambalaya" was nothing but rice, chicken and a few bits of boudin with far too much pepper.

got a chicken and sausage jambalaya I see so little meats in it. A lot of rice. Coleslaw wasn't really good.

Quick spot to run in for a decent meal if you do not want fast food. The service was fast and good and the food was to my liking. Ate it all the way back to texas I had the jambalaya with white beans and a order of crawfish meat pies. Don't hesitate to stop go in and give it a try.

Only giving this two stars because the person working the counter was friendly. The chicken and sausage gumbo was scorched and I will not return.

Overall, really good. The gumbo was fantastic. The Jambalya was not dry. I really enjoy the layout and the setting. It feels cozy. The staff has been really super each time we've visited. My only minor issue is the potato salad. It's way too sweet. Like sugary sweet, and not from sweet pickles in potato salad. We'll keep going back. Really like this place.

We ordered from here the last time we were in Baton Rouge. Despite throwing the jambalaya away after a few bites, my husband insisted on ordering from here again. He enjoyed the gumbo, and crawfish boudin, which is the only reason for the two stars. We did order within an hour of closing time last time, that may have been the cause for some of my issues with the jambalaya. I thought I would give the jambalaya another try. In my opinion, it's not true jambalaya. It tasted more like day old, dry chicken and rice, with a little sausage thrown in.
