First off the service was superlative. The rooms were spacious and the bathroomImmaculate. Food and the bar were as good as you would need. And you were less than a mile from tre quarter.Fabulous hotel to stay in.

This hotel was such a great stay! From the kind hospitality from EVERYONE we encountered to the well appointed hotel spaces. 3-4 on site restaurants Centrally located to most things WalkableWell decorated CleanThe only thing I didn't love was the $45 per night SELF parking! I chose to street park because I was able to always find parking very close to the hotel, and if I'm going to self park, I'm doing it for free. Lol. Great stay and would absolutely stay again!

I did not stay here but my Plus 1 had a sales meeting and I got to visit the lobby and bar area. This is the official World War II Museum hotel and patriotism is on full display. When I visited they were recognizing the women who served and supported during WW II. This was very close to me as my mother worked in a factory that manufactured ammunition and my father and uncles also served in the European and Pacific campaigns. The entrance and lobby and grandiose and reminded me of a 1940s movie. If you are visiting New Orleans and are a history buff spend the $32 bucks and tour the museum then visit the Higgens, have a cocktail, and salute the veterans who served and sacrificed for our freedom. Pro tip: I heard they have a really cool rooftop bar.

The Higgins is a Hilton boutique hotel located about a mile from the French Quarter, making it about a 20 min walk. It's also the official hotel of the World War II museum, which is located right next to it. Very cool!Hotel stay was pleasant. It's pretty new and modern and only about 2 years old. There's a coffee shop/cafe right downstairs, which is convenient for grab n go pastries and coffee.Room was comfortable with a super plush bed and strong water pressure. They give you two complimentary water bottles too along with coffee and tea. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at The Higgins Hotel again if I'm ever back in New Orleans.

Hands down The Higgins Hotel is one of my favorite hotels in New Orleans and is one I recommend to my friends and family every time I've been asked for a place to stay. This hotel is the official World War II Museum and hosts artifact and memorabilia. Upon walking in the grandioso of the lobby is strong and alluring. I've always felt like this hotel derives inspiration from The Great Gatsby era. The waiting area on the first floor features these epic stainless steel chairs that mimic boats and are so freaking cool. The attention to detail throughout the hotel space is impressive. I've had the chance to stay from a two queen room, a king suite, and the penthouse and each room is so well curated and thought out.Hotel beds here are so plush and the air conditioning gets super super cold. The perfect combo for a good nights sleep. If you're super sensitive to light just know the blackout curtains here work and you'll be setup for success!

Nice hotel and staff. The biggest issue is the bed. Wow. Talk about used. Was like lying in a hole. Not comfortable. The facility needs to consider rotating the mattress or replacing them.

It's a nice hotel within walking distance to everything or you can Uber. The hotel has multiple restaurants located inside. The room was clean. Also the food was good. Service was good throughout my stay. I enjoyed my stay here. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel was under resourced. I have never driven up to a hotel and there were no bell boys to help you with your bags. Also, the people who cleaned the room were rude. If you were in your room when they came by, they said they couldn't promise that they would clean it. Experience I will never forget . . . And experience I never want to have again.

Love this hotel! A couple of hiccups but a great experience. My room was beautiful, I loved the shower and large space. Bed was pretty comfortable, but not as good as home of course. Everyone at the front desk but especially John, we're fabulous kind and helpful. I had water delivered to my room with the maid service almost every day and they provided so many toiletries and I loved the towels. Hotel offered a few restaurants with pricey but a variety of choices. My hiccups were the water does take forever to warm up in the shower. The maid did more of a "dusting" and the duvet on my bed was covered in a gritty service. But otherwise, everything here was a solid experience. I would never stay in the heart of the city, and would be happy to return here.

Great stay.Pros - Great staff. They work hard to accommodate needs. I really enjoyed the staff especially at the front desk, cafe normandie, and the rooftop. Three eateries. I concur with others the smash burgers were good. Lovely styled room. Love the bath. Love the shower. Loved the quietness of room. I never heard my neighbors. Bed was firm. Water provided in the front. 1 mile downward walk to the French Quarter. Allowed me to check out late. Cons - I had to call twice in the morning because requested items never came. Only black and chamomile tea provided in room. I think all hotels should have a green tea option. They did but that was for purchase only. The eateries were okay. No bath products (only shower). It's a shame to have such a nice bath with no bath products. Room cleaned once in my 5 day stay. Lady knew very little English so it made it hard communicating needs when I did see her in the hallway. I was allergic to something and my sneezing deteriorated during stay. May want to check vents.
