The Goat

The Goat is a kick ass bar. It's gorgeous inside, the bartenders are friendly, and it's a great space for bands. I will be sure to come back next time I visit.

Right now it's too clean to fully earn its badge as a dive bar in NOLA. Perfectly set for live music with a open floor plan and long bar. Edgy but really friendly bartenders and the jukebox has a lot of hits most noticeably Meatloaf's Bat Out of Hell I & II.Not sure what place the first reviewer is talking about my experience was totally different. I will however mention that I went there went it was slow so I can speak to the clientele not being clean. Me and my three friends however were all clean and don't smell

Good Lord is this a fantastic spot. Granted it's got a Goth/Industrial/Metal/Punk vibe going on but they are obviously very welcoming to everyone. Super Nice owner, if you're looking for a Neon Burton street vibe this isn't your spot. But if you wNt to support a true local business this is the spot...

Miked comments only suggest this is not his type of bar. If you want a dark chill bar where you can dance anyway you please and the drinks are not over priced then the goat is for you. I love this place.

Great place to go to have a drink and chill, They show funny Horror movies and bartenders are friendly. Quiet and nice little dive bar to go if yr in the area, they do specials so make sure you check those out ! Love the goat

A quiet dive bar. Its a god send. The staff is welcoming and the interior is dark and edgy.

Kind of a goth dive bar. I wouldn't call this destination, but if you're already in the neighborhood bouncing around, it's worth stopping by for a drink.

Best goat themed bar in town. Hands down. Good prices. Great atmosphere if you like goats.
