I had a phone reading with Krysten. The reading lasted an hour but you can also purchase a 30 minute reading if you can't do a full hour. Krysten was spot on and very patient with all of my questions. The reading Krysten gave me provided clarity and answers to a situation I'm currently dealing with.I really wish I could disclose specifics but I want to protect my privacy. Let's just say that everything she told me was accurate. She knew things without me volunteering details. Krysten gave me a lot of hope for the future and I'm confident that I'm able to turn things around. After the reading, Krysten took a lot of time answering questions and she provided advice. Beautiful shop & so many unique items. Love that it is nestled away on Magazine Street because it's truly a gem. Make sure to ask about Vincent's artwork. I have my own to add to my NOLA locals collection.

Great readings at this small but charming shop.This beautiful store is small but nicely stocked. The working altars are lovely and inspiring! It's outside the main tourist district (i.e. better prices and genuine readings) and definitely worth the easy trip there. The proprietor is knowledgeable and very personable and does excellent, helpful readings.

The Dark Lady is my most favorite recent discovery! The 1st time I went, Matt was welcoming, informative and most importantly, kind. His energy is very grounded and friendly. We talked about different Tarot & Lenormand decks, and he informed me that he really enjoyed working with the Lenormand. Today I returned for a reading. He was absolutely spot-on in every single bit of information he saw in the cards! He was supportive and encouraging, but also unafraid to tell me where I might potentially sabotage myself. I have more clarity now about my situation and feel empowered to take the next steps. The other readers happened to be there too, and tossed out their input as well, which was so generous! All in all, this shop and the lovely people working in it are wonderful at what they do! I felt welcomed when I entered and cared for when I left.

Matt is a beautiful wealth of knowledge and a complete and utter sweetheart. We were directed to the store through a local friend, who told me that Matt was the one to talk to for what was troubling me. Boy was he right! I wasn't able to get a reading today because we came in about an hour before closing and the reading I needed takes time. Even so, my partner and I spent the better part of an hour and even a bit after closing talking with Matt, who was more than happy to give knowledge and advice more than what was necessary. He was incredibly kind, and you can ask him anything and he will never make you feel uncomfortable or talked down to. It is now my go-to spiritual shop. And, to top it off his prices are reasonable and he knows his stock. No tourist trap! He is a genuine soul and I highly recommend.

After visiting several stores in NOLA, I decided to come here. While at the other stores, I felt like the items there catered more to getting tourists in. One store I went in, the lady made very rude comments to a customer and the vibe was just bad. Immediately when entering this store, Matt greeted me and was super friendly and helpful. The products available were the products I had been searching for. I recommend this store!

I went to this shop today based on the Yelp reviews, and so glad I did! C/Katherine was offering rune Norse readings and it was great. She was very spot on and delivered the message clear and direct while also giving some homework! I'll be back for sure

I ran across this shop online when looking for NON-TOURISTY shops to check out on a planned trip to New Orleans. Even though I was staying in the French Quarter, the Lyft ride over to Magazine Street was absolutely worth the trip! Matt was absolutely AMAZING. Extremely friendly, well-educated and he just has a wonderful, warm and welcoming vibe of wanting to help people. I had an hour-long tarot card reading with him that really helped clarify some personal things going on in my life and it was like talking with a highly intuitive old friend. I also bought some things from The shop that are helping as well.I highly recommend this shop. Especially since its well outside of the tourist trap of the French Quarter. Also, just going to check out the shop will have you wandering around the beautiful neighborhood as well and is a great way to spend the day in New Orleans.
