Last night we had our 10 year class reunion and I must say the new owner has remodeled this venue and it looks beautiful now.From beginning to end was absolutely awesome.The staff took super great care of us,The Dj kept us all on the dance floor.The bartenders remembered our drinks.The food was to die for, my favorite is the gumbo, shrimp pasta, wings, and corn and shrimp bisque.If you're looking for a local event hall in the New Orleans surrounding area, don't look anymore. This is your place to have your event!Thank you Diego and Shelby.

Attended a wedding here a few weeks ago and I was extremely impressed - food was excellent, great service, great atmosphere. The new management has definitely done a great job improving this facility. Would definitely recommend for a wedding or any other event.

WE WERE DUPED! I held my event here! If you are planning to have your wedding here, RUN! For starters, the owner, whom we dubbed "The Claw" has real mafia business polices and attitude, once you've paid! Once you place a sizable deposit, there is no chance of getting a cent back, or moving the date whatsoever! Once you give up the money the owner goes from smooth, friendly businessman, to a loan shark personality. He is a screwed businessman. The money you pay absolutely does not go to food or utensils, we were served terrible fried "h'orderves" on cheap plasticware. This was a nightmare! These good reviews must be done be staff! The owner also had a verbal altercation with a guest! So embarrassing!!!!!!! This place was a HUGE let down! :-(

We had our wedding there yesterday. It was more than beautiful. Donnie the owner was more than amazing. He was always a short email away to answer any questions and even more patient with family considering I had late out of towers for the rehearsal and the wedding. I had plenty of great compliments about the beauty, food and staff. The staff was more than friendly always checking on me, the bride, to make sure I was ok. It was definitely more than expected! You truly can't beat the price or the amazing customer service!! Thanks crystal plantation for an amazing event!!

My husband and I are truly grateful to Diego and his staff for everything! They all worked patiently with us over the course of 6 months to create a beautiful wedding we will remember for years to come! Diego is extremely professional yet personable and takes the time to get to know his clients and is always available to aid/cater to the client's needs. The food was AMAZING and plentiful and my family is very selective on food but absolutely no complaints. I appreciate the variety in the menu Crystal Events provides...the seafood gumbo and shrimp and corn bisque was my favorite to say the least! If I had to change anything it would have been us paying for more time/guests ahead as we partied and the time got away from us (no one really wanted to leave). Sincere thanks Diego! We had my daughter and niece quince. It was a double quince 6.14.24. The place was set up beautifully. The servers were amazing they made sure everyone had food on their plates and their drinks filled. It was like they was there but not there. You was absolutely amazing you made sure all of their needs were met and you made sure they didn't lack for nothing!!! Thank you so much!! Your mom did amazing with the food especially keeping the food hot!!! Crystal Events thank you for making the quince such a memorable night!!!

Attended a very nice wedding here. Food was good, music (their own dj) was good and the employees were very nice, friendly and professional. A/c was kicking. Building could have used some uodating.

I'm on a friends yelp account. I had my wedding there in June of 2014. Yes, years ago lol. I came when Donnie first took over as the previous owners had a bad rep. I had many questions about food and all kinds of other bridezilla stuff. On the day of my wedding everything was chaotic but when we arrived at the reception Donnie and his staff was on hand and waited on my husband and I hand and foot!!! I mean we literally had someone close by without being crowded the entire time. I forgot my personalized knife set, and my wedding flutes. Donnie said "No worries I have some". He came through for us. They cleaned up and had our things all boxed up, put them in the car and gave us 3 trays of food! I will never forget!! He and his staff made my day go so much more smoother. Thank you Donnie and staff were forever grateful!!

I recently learned of this venue by searching for one, only weeks before I decided to move a retirement party from my house. I can't put in words how pleasant it was to booked this venue and how pleased we were with having the party there. Donnie, the owner, handled everything from beginning to end. He was superb in his interactions with us, and very accommodating overall. The party turned out very well. The place was set up nicely, the food was great (and a lot of it), and his staff was on point from beginning to end. I would definitely book this venue again and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a very nice venue with a great package. Donnie and his team more than met our expectations and I am a tough critic. Thanks to all at The Crystal Plantation.
