100% best neighborhood bar in the city. Still open during a winter storm unprecedented in NOLA. Best people and great vibes, can't recommend this pub more.

Went to have a drink after getting off ferry. It was small but definitely had the feel of an English pub, including darts available to play. There were several beers on tap and I had a glass of wine.

Pretty damn authentic from the pub owner, to the selection of draught beers from the old country, all the way to the richness of the interior. Well done crown and anchor.

We had a great time discovering this out of the way space. We had a Sonic screwdriver, and it was delicious. And, yes, It's bigger on the inside! Our Corgi's name is Riversong, btw. She loved her water and doggie biscuit.

My kind of dive bar! This cozy corner spot is loaded with interesting things to look at--beer steins, posters, memorabilia, etc. I've never been to a proper English pub, but I watch Britbox almost exclusively, and those on TV look a lot like this. Dark wood, low ceilings, and the cheeriest bar staff. Now I always have a hard time choosing a drink, especially in places that are not martini bars. When the bartender noticed me struggling, she asked me what I usually like, then suggested her signature drink, a lemonade and... something blue, mixed. (Look at the photo to get an idea.) It was perfect. She was perfect. (I saw her out walking the next day. She remembered me and was just as friendly.) It was pretty late so we didn't order food (I'm not sure they even have any.) there were few people in the bar at this time, but I look forward to returning at a different time. I'd bet it's a fun, lively crowd. Brilliant!

Great vibe and affordable drinks. Sometimes they host pop-up food events. I went when there was an oyster event. You order and pay separately from the bar. The bar also carries English chips with strange flavors. All-in-all, I thought it was an affordable place to drink.

We decided to take the Ferry to Algiers late afternoon to watch New Orleans light up at dusk - didn't really happen. The pub is below the levy so no view of NOLA, but we had a pint anyway and enjoyed the friendly bartender and patrons.

It's across the water, yes. You have to take a ferry, yes. But that is what makes this little English pub so worthwhile to visit. The British population is thriving in this neck of the woods. The pub has a good selection of beers, cocktails, and spirits.Even though they do not serve food, you can grab a couple of packets of crisps, a bag of nuts, and random British snacks. You'll be golden. Also there are a few keepsakes, tee shirts, hats, and sundry items for your memories. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating depending on your want. Bench's out front to watch the world go by, or a small beer garden in t he back to place sacks (yes, that's really the name of the game). All have umbrellas to keep off the summer sun, that the pasty-white skin of the great British tourist burns under. This isn't Coventry, after all! All sorts of personalities of the welcoming regulars are readily knocking around. They engage with friend or stranger alike. You'll not leave feeling like a random tourist or visitor, if you take a little time to have a conversation.A little bit of Britain in America's great south.
