The Crossing

The venue is always so nice and accommodating. This is a great place for a shower, small wedding, or rehearsal dinner. It's a convenient location with parking. The staff are very friendly and helpful with planning and the day of.

I attended a wedding here & it was beautiful. It was an outdoor ceremony which was very pretty. Minus the brick columns that blocked the view of ceremony. It is not a very big place so if you want a large wedding then I would say this would not be your place. The food was delicious! we had shrimp & grits, gumbo, grilled veggies & beef sirloin meant to be served on a roll (I ate it without it). The cake was very delicious as well. I think the Bruce told me that they contract with a bakery & it did not disappoint. I have also been to this place in the past for school auctions so it's not just for weddings. I would highly recommend this place.

We have had two events at The Crossing, a rehearsal dinner and a baby shower. In spite to the totally different events,they were both flawless. The staff left no detail unattended and went well out of their way to ensure that our guests enjoyed themselves. Additionally, they took so much of the load off, that we were able to fully enjoy time with our guests without worrying about the event.The food was amazing. The quality was excellent and the quantity was more than sufficient. We have had nothing but compliments from our guests.Finally, the location itself it amazing. It is charming and open without feeling "barnlike". The set up was exactly what we asked for both times and no detail was overlooked. We highly recommend The Crossing for your next event.

These ladies saved my wedding. I had everything all lined up at another place and the other venue double booked on me, four weeks before my wedding. My sister found the Crossing and we talked to them. To my luck, they happen to be available for that night. They were able to redue my whole wedding in less than four weeks. And they made it look easy. Everything was perfect for my big day. It was so beautiful. It came out better than I could have imagined. And as far as my new husband go, he is hard to impress, and the ambiance actually impressed him as well. I am also constantly getting complements from my friends and family about how wonderful my wedding was put together. The service was beyond wonderful, I only have kind words for how they were with us. My guest has lots of nice things to say about them as well. And the price fit nicely with my budget. My sister had her wedding here on Friday night. It was absolutely beautiful & everybody went above & beyond to make everything perfect for us. We were so impressed with everything & everyone being so helpful. Wonderful place for a wedding , wonderful people to do business with & delicious food.

Possibly the best hidden gem in our city....I recently hosted an engagement party at The Crossing, not only were every one of my needs met and exceeded the party couldn't have been more perfect. Excellent food, paired perfectly with wines for every pallet. The staff couldn't have been more attentive, and my guests offered up more compliments than imaginable. This is definitely the spot for your next event.

The facility is nice and clean but the food was not good. The red beans were allowed to become paste; crayfish etouffee just not good; gumbo was their best offering. Sandwiches were not good either. I felt sorry for the family as lots of food left in plates and on serving table. The bar was manned well enough to keep up with demand. Staff kept up with cleaning tables, etc. The food just was a big disappointment.
