Cute shop on Magazine. Stopped in while visiting from South Carolina. They have a variety of items from hand crafted jewelry, cards, books, crafted candles, etc. The co-owner, Toni, and the young lady working at the register were delightful. I bought a few pairs of earrings, and it was hard to decide because there were so many that were cute. I will definitely be back.

I love this place. I LOVE this place! I go in because I just kind of want to hang out in here because it's so well curated and it smells good and the service is great and the vibes are splendid, then I leave with all of these things that I've decided I need. And I never regret a purchase. I come here for the home and beauty items. Like my new signature fragrance that I get from the Collective Shop by a small unisex perfumery called An. Other (sic), for instance. I also get stationary and art prints made by local artists that are hand painted with beautiful New Orleans motifs like bags of Zapps or New Orleans water meters painted in soft watercolor styles reminiscent of Warhol. My favorite locally poured candle and whipped shea butter with botanical and woody fragrances are from here. This has also just recently become my shop for small batch, artisanal wrapping paper printed with hand drawn New Orleans shotguns on it, Louisiana themed wooden Christmas ornaments, and holiday cards. They also have a really beautiful selection of thoughtful gifts and there hasn't been a time that I've stopped in that something reasonably priced was also on sale. I can't sing their praises enough!

Craziness! This has been a go to shopping spot since it opened. And I was sure I had reviewed it before.Great selection of creative items. You will certainly find something that you MUST have and maybe a couple of things for gifts for family/friends too.The staff is great and superchill... helpful without being pushy. Parking is easy on this stretch of Magazine so you should be able to pop in & out with zero problems.

I participated in a secret santa gift exchange for work and wanted to #supportlocal #supportnola while still respecting the recipient's wish list. I had two key words to go off of: tea and candles.Hmmmmm....I had my friend Eric tell me about The Collective Shop a few months back when he bought some prints and I obsessed about them at his house. I was told it had recently opened on Magazine Street (this was around Halloween) and it was not only #blackowned but #womanowned and #opentoall !*sold*I had this ace in my pocket for a while now but wanted a reason to shop for someone else, besides myself, and have a proper visit to explore and shop. I'm notorious for buying gifts for myself then as I'm in my car realized that I needed to shop for whatever the occasion was for.The shop is so stinking cute and is about 2-3 blocks away from Drink Beauty. Honestly, I love taking a stroll on Magazine Street and just basking in the ambiance.Once I found the cute little shop, I made my way in and fell in love at first sight.Had the chance to meet Alysia, one of the owners and she showed me around. I had asked her if they offer shipping and they do if you hit a certain threshold. WINNINGI mentioned about my secret mission and wanted to make sure this could be sent incognito. She was super awesome and handled the details once I provided the address. I even left the items there since I needed computer access to her address. They have their own loose leaf tea and were super informative on which ones work with alternative milks and best for chai lattes. What won me over though were their #vegan candles which Alysia and Toni make in-house! I took a few sniffs and selected my fave two scents. The smaller ones were $8 a pop and the larger ones were around $14.You can find tons of knick knacks around here and make sure to ask which items are made in-house. Really loved my experience here and this shop implements COVID-19 safety practices!I snagged my secret santa gift for a little over $30 and left with a huge smile on my face. I hope CM Anne F. likes it just as much when it arrives to her doorstep.

I love all things New Orleans and I loooooooooooooove supporting small businesses!!! It was a WIN WIN!!! I had the opportunity to meet the owner and her assistant and how delightful they were; their personalities fit right in with the vibe of the store. I highly recommend this shop as a place to pick up our New Orleans branded, Louisiana branded items as well as other cute-to-me, need to have things. I mean don't get me wrong there are other items in the store that are also very nifty and things you want to take home but for me, I just couldn't get enough of seeing New Orleans this, N'awlins that, Louisiana this and Cajun that... I loved it, loved it, loved it; so I definitely will be going back and I have already told several of my friends to make their way. They are planning to do so before Christmas and even after because the items that are here can be purchased as birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, gifts for out-of-towners, gift for in-towners, gifts for yourself or just items that you have around the house for decoration. You can't go wrong here!!! As I walked around, I picked up so many things until my arms were filled to capacity, I needed a shopping crate. I recommend you stop in for a visit to gather a few things, you won't be disappointed.

I love this place as soon as I walked in. Everything was beautifully displayed and I was greeted at the door. This place has everything you are looking for in a gift, think stationary, tea towels, candles, tote bags, etc. They also had many unique items like a pyramid cheese grater, drink bitters, tea bags and more. Many of the items were New Orleans or Louisiana themed and seemed to be locally made which is amazingThis place is also a women owned and black owned business! This is now one of my favorite shops. I will be coming back here for gifts to friends and family, and for myself!

I initially found out about this place because of a Yelp Elite event. Such a cute store with so many awesome items. They have a little bit of everything. I walked around indecisively bc I just couldnt decide on what to get...always a good thing. The owner was welcoming and the smell when you enter is amazing. They offer all types of candles, jewelry, tea, soap, and so many other great gift items for yourself or anyone else.I decided on some soap, hand sanitizer, a mask and some mango tea. Very reasonable prices and off street parking nearby. Planning on making a return visit. I am an avid supporter of great local businesses.

Friday, December 11th, 2020Support BOB and it's woman owned! Alysia (Alisha) was super pleasant and personable. I was the only person in the shop when I arrived! I came for a Yelp Elite event but I also made a personal purchase. I bought a #Blessed holiday card pack and a jacket pin for a birthday gift. I wanted to purchase so many things but my wallet said otherwise LOL I'll be back once Christmas is over!

COVID-19 Update: Omfg this store is an absolute winner! I'm so glad that Tomas introduced this store to us bc now I know where my go to store for gifts for loved ones (ok and for me too! Haha ;)I walked around the store at least twice because there is so much to see! Plus I wanted to find something for a gf's belated birthday and maybe some things for myself as well. They have so many locally made, handcrafted, things it's mind blowing! I'm talking the gamut from beautiful Christmas ornaments on a ginormous tree (I'm looking at the Louisiana and Nola ornaments for my next visit), handmade jewelry, prints, hand towels, tea, face masks, cards, lapel pins, t-shirts, bags, ceramic mugs, pencils with cute sayings, funny ribbons, facial and body products, etc. I ended up with a hilarious "classy af" pin which I saw at the register and had to buy it even though the lovely lady already rang up my other purchases of New Orleans style home cards and "Netflix and chill" ribbon! I can't wait to go back to this gorgeous store!Happy shopping and supporting local! And did I mention like Tomas said it's #womanowned and #blackowned! Woohoo!
