Attended an event here recently. I hadn't heard of the venue before but the pictures looked great so it made me more excited for the event. There is a parking lot right near so you don't have to walk far. It's connected to a restaurant/bar but completely separate. We had access to the main areas and the outside view and everything was beautifully decorated and the place was clean. It was pretty roomy for the size party there (about 150ish). Food was pretty good that was served by the venue. Especially those beignets. Yum. The views outside with the sunset was perfect as well. You also won't get a weak drink from the bartenders here. Would love to attend another event here.

I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding here, and it was one of my favorite wedding venues I've ever been to! From how beautiful it was, to the uniqueness, to the location, to the service, everything was amazing. The Chicory is in the middle of New Orleans, and you can't beat that energy and level of fun. It's a historic building with a lot to do in the area, and plenty of hotel options nearby if you're coming from out of town. When we got into the venue, I was immediately blown away by the beautiful exposed brick and the overall look of everything. It was also a nice change from the typical hotel ballroom. The staff were so nice and so attentive! We had two bridal attendants with us the whole time. They were so friendly and helpful, and you can tell they really love their job. They went over the top to make sure the bride had everything she needed and didn't have to worry about a thing-down to checking her water bottle constantly to make sure she always had fresh water.During the reception, we left for a few minutes to take pictures on the rooftop at sunset, which turned out beautiful.Overall, the Chicory was a beautiful experience and the perfect spot for one my best friend's big day. Thank you for everything!

Decent venue with rustic vibes and good assortment of desserts. Yes, I started with the desserts because their vegetarian options were quite limited and plate size was small as well. Their service; however, was quick and the space was clean as well.

What a beautiful space! I attended a wedding here over the weekend and it was really lovely. My friends went ahead and rented all the rooms available (according to the website: the Fulton, Lafayette & Orleans + the balcony). The out of town guests were amazed by the space. Even though it was on the 2nd floor there was an elevator. The entranceway is a lovely wide staircase with marble floors. This the space above Ernst Cafe and if there is a band downstairs, you can hear them...so make sure your music is louder.

There is no better venue in New Orleans than The Chicory to have your wedding. From the get-go, Bret and Jenna blew us away. We must have visited five + venue tours and no one compared to the thoroughness and presentation of these two. They made us feel completely at ease to hold our wedding there. It felt like the perfect place to say, "I do." First and foremost, the Chicory is absolutely stunning. Secondly, the Chicory knows that your guests are there to eat, drink, and have fun. They made sure that we had plenty of bars and bartenders so none of our guest were waiting for a drink. They had a great drink selection and even made two specialty cocktails for my husband and I. The food.... OH MY GOSH. It was so delicious. Everything was so tasty... even my husband's family who is born and raised in NOLA were raving about it. Both my husband and I also had personal assistance the entire night who brought us whatever we wanted and always made sure we had either some food or a drink in hand. The space was set up perfectly. Another feature of the Chicory that we loved was the courtyard behind it. We did our Second Line behind the Chicory and did not have to worry about the police escort. We also opted to rent their gas lamp photo booth which was a fun addition to the wedding--guests loved it. We even got to keep the name sign they made for us on the lamp post (great keepsake). Lastly, although we had a wedding planner and we absolutely loved her and her team, The Chicory does SOOOOO much that I imagine it would be easy to go without a planner if you so wish. The Chicory is the total package. It is a gorgeous venue with delicious food, excellent service, and the very BEST team running it. HIGHLY recommend.

Our group was in town for the International Special Events Society conference in New Orleans. We hosted our opening event at the chicory. Over hundreds of event professionals, including myself, was blown away by the delicious food, gorgeous and unique event space and quality service. Their are many rooms and each provide an intimate, edgy and romantic atmosphere. It's a blank canvas with gorgeous brick walls and an outdoor patio. I don't typically write reviews but I had to because the chicory was so amazing! Book this venue for your next event, you won't be disappointed with a thing. Our event professionals from across the world highly recommend this venue!

Really pretty locale with multiple rooms available. I would describe it as class warehouse but the pictures do better justice than that. I never made it to the rooftop (reviewer and life fail) The use of multiple entrances also allows for a good flow of people. The only thing I would suggest is better signage as I have gone into the incorrect room during an event. Then it is great to be right near Julia and Fulton Tchop to visit other bars and nightclubs after the event.

Awesome uptown spot for breakfast and lunch. Great coffee and wonderful to see Tiesta loose leaf tea. Everything is made in house - breakfast sandwich comes on a home made English muffin - delish. Was here for lunch and split the uncle boots and firehouse sandwiches- really taste!! Highly recommend

Let me start off by saying that my husband and I must have looked at a dozen venues in New Orleans (destination wedding). From the minute I stepped inside The Chicory, I just got a really great vibe from Brent. I had a long Venue Questionnaire and Brent answered most questions before I could even ask them. We loved the menu options and flexibility, staff (Shout out to Brent, Caroline, Micole, and Lily), the surrounding area of the venue (pedestrian walkway, cobble stone streets, etc. made for great photos) and not to mention the overall look of the space. We received so many compliments from our guests regarding the food....which was a big concern of mine since New Orleans wedding's are typically cocktail style and New Yorker's are used to sit down dinners. We have NO regrets on our New Orleans destination wedding and The Chicory is largely to thank!
